You still missed it. Factually— He doesn’t have an NIL deal of any kind because he told a police officer that he was lucky they weren’t in Memphis, because he’d shoot him. They’ve tried to help him get an endorsement, but even Spyre doesn’t want to touch him.I can assure you It’s better than yours. But I wasn’t really responding directly to your message as a criticism. Just responding generally to the idea of him being mad that he gets nothing. Like i semi get it but also you’re an average linebacker. Not really an NIL royalty position
Gotcha. Tbf maybe Sprye doesn’t want to touch him because he’s not very goodYou still missed it. So the rumor mill on Facebook says that Banks and Hooker got in a fight , and Milton had to break them up . Hmmmm
If that’s all it was Milton would be the one left in Knoxville for shoving another teammate . Banks did something to keep him off the busversion I have seen was that banks refused to do push-ups after stepping on the T in the locker room. Hooker confronts, Banks refused, Milton shoves Banks. Banks sits for refusing to follow team rule.
If this is true and this is all there truly was to it then shame on Josh Huepel. You're in the middle of a playoff run, I understand team discipline etc. but there would be other ways to handle this petty offense. All that being said I think there's a tremendous amount more to this story than that. If not then the SEC isn't for JHversion I have seen was that banks refused to do push-ups after stepping on the T in the locker room. Hooker confronts, Banks refused, Milton shoves Banks. That’s not the right story, it’s about nil not some stupid pushupsIf this is true and this is all there truly was to it then shame on Josh Huepel. Yea man who knows the real truth . There’s also rumors out there saying Milton broke Banks jaw. That is a FB rumor … so we know how that is .version I have seen was that banks refused to do push-ups after stepping on the T in the locker room. The biggest problem with his run in was it was on camera, sold to TMZ, and allowed to be watched forever on Youtube. I don't recall any other incident quite like this. A film of McCollough"s incident, Beasley's cat etc might have been a bigger deal if it was filmed. I, like most of you have no idea what happened, all I know was TN didn't have their best night, SC did. JB's future is also tbd. I have found many on this board who take the moral high ground on character, while not believing in redemption. I appreciate all the guys who stayed, worked hard after the Pruitt situation, and gave us a season to remember. Let's face it, with our season long struggles to cover receivers, making the playoff would have meant an early and ugly exit in game 1. I wish the best for all our players going forward and have really enjoyed the ride this year. We’ve had many team guys have run-ins with the law over the last 40 years. With Banks you get a renegade on the field (good way) and since his issue with the cops a few years ago seemed to keep a low profile. Don’t disagree on the difference between the two. But money changes everything sports or not.

Completely agree. While I understand what he did early in his career would have an impact on marketability. We need to use this and make it a better situation. No we shouldn't reward thug behavior. However if kids have made ammends and been a model citizen I don't see the problem. But maybe to prevent future issues like these or any other we need a better plan ? Sometimes kids do dumb things.... I can understand frustration on his part. However who knows what was said.
Banks signed pre NIL and those players rarely get meaningful deals if they aren’t spotlight players like QBs. Separately Banks hasn’t been able to get a deal based on the circumstances of his arrest. They’ve been looking for a workaround for months. This week he lost it in the locker room, skipped meetings and classes. Hooker called him out, and they got into it. Banks obviously isn’t handling this well, but it’s gotta be hard for him to deal with teammates driving new cars from their NIL deals while he gets nothing. Odd circumstance. Banks being out hurt us way beyond his contributed tackles.
Now I have to question YOUR listening skills. Youtube the arrest, That was NOT what was said. My recollection was him questioning a Female riding along if she was sure she wanted to be in law enforcement, where he came from they ( as in others) shoot at police. True statement. It grew legs and became something more, much like the content of this thread. I actually wish the kid would have transferred for his sake. He had many schools interested. He could have easily took the Henry T or Q Crouch route. I will be willing to bet when this all comes to light NIL had very little to do with this. If Milton had broken his jaw Milton would have had a cast ( like McCollough), and there's no way in the world he would be expected to play next week. Either way he will be gone soon and we can find another player to HATE on.You still missed it.
