Jeremy Pruitt future DC at Bama....

Does this surprise anyone? They played Fulmer like a smooth violin. The plan was to bury the UT program as far under earth as you could and get paid millions to do it. The initial plan was to do this without getting fired for cause, rather get fired for poor performance to receive the buyout of millions upon millions of dollars. Then, once that happened, Saban would bring him back to Bamer for his reward.

Conspiracy theory? No. They will and have tried literally everything and anything to win, or get a winning edge. Simple google search will reveal their long storied history of cheating and MUCH worse.....

Lol, so Pruitt hates UT that much he was willing to ruin his reputation?

Sure thing.

I'm betting this is fake news.

A show cause won't just keep him from being a head coach. It will likely keep him from being any kind of coach at the college level. And my guess is, it will be for something like 5 or 7 years, if not even longer.

Bama's not going to hire a fella that they may have to turn right around and let go 3 or 6 months later.

It's just not going to happen, I don't think.

I doubt it will be that long.

I don't see Saban doing this.
Look at all the 'island of rehab coaches' he has taken in...it can be said that the most egregious was Sark who got fired from USC for DUI (possible rumors he was drinking while coaching too). The rest are all guys that didn't cut it as HC or coordinator at other places.

Even as much as Nicky wants to win, I don't see him associating with Pruiits level of scum for a second time....too much scrutiny.

I kind of hope it happens. If he’s back on the sidelines it means the NCAA isn’t coming down on anyone.
Or does it? Or could it mean that Saban puppeteers the NCAA like we have seen for so long? Anyone else who wants to hire him must show why they "Must hire JP" if Saban does it then the NCAA may say who are we to intervene? 🤷🏻😅

A lot of Bama's defensive problems started when their offense went to a more open and pass happy offense instead of their hard nosed offense with a damn good running game...The defense went from going against that offense in practice to the softer finesse offense....Under the former offense Bama's defense was always one of the best in the country....Much like UGA is now. Saban decided to go to a shootout high scoring offense and his defense has suffered.

I worked on a football staff under a head coach years ago that said and I've never forgotten it...."Show me a soft pass happy offense and I'll show you a soft defense." IMO he was right.
Yeah, let’s go back to good old “hard-nosed” real-man football where we score 20 points a game, like in grandpappy’s day, that’ll show ‘em! Look how well it’s worked for Kentucky!

Also Georgia’s offense passes more than they run, so are they “pass-happy”?

Cornbread will get a show cause and be out of coaching for awhile. I don’t even care. Pruitt was an even dumber hire than Dooley or Jones. Fulmer was a dumb hire too. All four will go down as some of the worst hires in UT history. Dooley was just plan terrible, Jones and Fulmer both were snake oil salesmen. Fulmer was a snake the way he did Majors and was good because he had some young good coaches under him. Cornbread couldn’t put two sentences together when talking. I can’t imagine what families thought when talking with all of those boobs.

At least now the President, Chancellor and our Athletic Director are pulling on the same rope. Our football coach has made us relevant again. I do have hope for the future. Cornbread and Alabama can suck it.

Good grief, I can promise you this didn't happen. No HC is going to ruin his career over trying to bury a rival. Please tell me you honestly don't believe it. So a guy is going to ruin his reputation as a HC, so he could get a demotion and be a DC again? I thought I'd heard everything but Thank you!!

UGA threw 4 passes the whole 2nd half aginst us....Pass happy?

And who said anything about going back? It's a fact the defenses are not as good as they were....Big 12 over the years anyone! Folks use to laugh at that conference because they played no defense....They been burning up the playoffs and nationial championships, huh?....Score points and don't worry about playing defense....And how did our offense do Sat with 6 points after 55 minutes?

Still pass more than they run over the course of the season. Maybe our offense didn’t score because our defense was too “soft” in practice…or maybe it’s absolutely ridiculous to blame one group’s performance on the other.

The show cause usually impacts any level of coaching in the collegiate level. However, nothing with the NC2A surprises me so they could issue a head coaching show cause.

Agreed, it looks like the NCAA is losing all control, and if anyone could manage getting Pruitt on staff, it's Saban.

If thencaa put a show cause on Bruce Pearl for lying about a kid at a backyard bbq, what do you think Pruitt will get?Should be life on show cause because his wife(a former compliance person)was also supposedly involved. If Pruitt were to be able to go to Bama without any probation, then everyone will know that thencaa and Emmert are under the Sabin desk.

If Hugh Freeze was basically blackballed by the SEC for even an OC position I don’t see how they think they’ll be able to get Beldar Cornbread past the rules committee.

Stranger things have happened though…
