Mora and Shaw look like SEC coaches in the Pac. Both are studs and if Mora is calling we should at least talk.

That's the thing about me. I don't think there's just one guy. I think Strong, Patterson and several others could do a good job for us.

I just can't reiterate how cautious we should be with Mora. Maybe he's changed but I've seen the goofiness and the meltdowns.

As of right now I'm cool with it. Worry about him moving around to much as that's a big red flag. I want someone I feel is gonna be around for eva eva. I do feel he's a west coast guy. Will he go back to the nfl??? I also wonder what will happen if he leaves after one yr at UCLA to come here??? Will we be ok with being the most hypocritical fan base in history???

Also I'm always weary about the guys who do well in thier first yrs with other coaches guys etc. his nfl experience and connections to the ATL are things that get me with some of those concerns though.

I posted a couple days ago that a few former players, including some playing on Sundays, have pushed for mora. A current pro players father in law is involved to.

Just a tidbit. Probably nothing in the long run.

I dislike the idea of Mora. Would rather have Fisher and I don't like the idea of Fisher either.

Hope we interview him also. We Just need the best hire we can get and Mora looks like a good choice.

Yeah when Vic got caught for the dog abuse. He helped to put the Falcons back on the map. I am a Falcons fan and he was a solid coach. Mora would be an excellent hire. As far as recruiting. I am pretty sure he could recruit.

Mora was long gone by the time the dog abuse stuff happened and had zero to do with the current run they're on.

Like I said, he had 1 good year then couldn't sustain it. Went to Seattle and got run after a 5 win season. He's sort of the NFL version of Derek Dooley so far.

Sorry I thought it was 06 that Vic got caught. Maybe it was 06 that he couldn't stay healthy. Kinda like this year with the Eagles.

I like Mora a lot.

Jimbo is the only coach I like more than Mora. Jimbo seems out of the running. So I would like to pursue Mora. IMO

I don't put much into moras pro record. I look at the sideline and how his players played this year, as compared to the TN type rut they have been in for the last few years.

We need that and now.
