I would take either of the two coaches who are coaching in the Pac-12 championship game right now. Mora or Shaw would be a huge upgrade over Dooley.

To be honest from what I am watching Mora Jr has done a heck of a job with turning around UCLA and could do the same for us!

Read this from Skeeter this morning. Don't see a thread about Jim Mora Jr. He has name recognition in South, having been coach of the Falcons.

He hates the south. Hated Atlanta when he was down here. He's a west coast guy and always will be just like Kiffin. I think this is just another pipe dream.

Good year at UCLA. But only one. IMO one good season does not make a great coach.

Someone posted an interesting analysis here showing that the best long term success in the SEC came from up and comers that had managed at least 2 seasons with at least 9 wins.

Doubt he hates the south if he is wanting the TN job. I would take Strong anyday over Mora though.

Would be our best hire besides Gruden are stoops. He would put together a Great coaching staff.

As nomadic as he's been, I think he'd move back and take the job. But I think your characterization of him is correct.

He contacted Tennessee he wants the job. Skeeter posted he was very intrested.
