As nuts as this might sound, if its really bad, only then does Fulmer actually make sense.

Not saying it would ever happen, just the only scenario Phil's name would ever legit get brought up, and likely not even then.
That wouldn't make sense at all. That job is probably going to need a coach who is willing to work his ass off, and if the NCAA issues are serious, be willing to put up with years of failure and abuse from the fan base.

Supposedly, a scathing article on OSU's program with more allegations coming out in SI on Tuesday.

OsU officials must've got a whiff and decided to let him go. I thought Memorial day was a tasteless day to announce this. I shouldn't be surprised

Fulmer's name makes no sense in any logical equation.

May have been stated earlier, but you got to think that the brass at OSU has found out something more damning in the last couple of days. Said on ESPN he was called on vacation to report back to campus immediately and given choice of resignation or termination.

RT @adamjardybsb: #OhioState QB Terrelle Pryor just arrived at WHAC in car that looked new with temp tags. Quote:

Man, he must have incurred some serious issues with the 'AA for that to happen after the public pledge of support from the university...

I don't think Urban takes it.

1. Sanctions on the horizon
2. No Mullen, Strong, or Tebow. The last season he was at Florida without some form of that trio it didn't work out to well.

He will say he isn't taking the job because of his family.

JMO.

Agreed on all counts, and would add that CUM would be the last choice to get your off-the-field house in order (see: Gators arrest record).

In a dramatic twist of irony, watch them land TCU's coach.

The just released SI article

Sports Illustrated investigation on Jim Tressel, Ohio State - SI.com - Magazine

Tressel was forced out three days after Sports Illustrated alerted Ohio State officials that the wrongdoing by Tressel's players was far more widespread than had been reported. SI learned that the memorabilia-for-tattoos violations actually stretched back to 2002, Tressel's second season at Ohio State, and involved at least 28 players -- 22 more than the university has acknowledged. Those numbers include, beyond the six suspended players, an additional nine current players as well as nine former players whose alleged wrongdoing might fall within the NCAA's four-year statute of limitations on violations.

Wow.

Well, if the 'AA finally gets around to grabbing a hold of its sack and is ready to throw the book, Ohio State shouldn't be worried about trying to win anything for the next ten years or so.
