And yet he lost to NC state, got blown up by FL and squeaked by a pretty pedestrian Ga tech.

He lost 1 ACC game this year. In the biggest stage, he beat Clemson in the ACC and did it handily. If we are going by that standard, would you be disappointed with Pete Carroll for losing to bad teams once a year in the Pac 10, with the most talented roster on the planet?

As a guy in ACC country I just don't like Fisher. He's the one guy I hoped we wouldn't hire although he's one step above Swinney. He's recruited great in FL we'll see with him here.

Carroll owned the PAC-10. Fisher not so much.

I watch every game FSU plays. It's my dads fav team. I don't like Fisher, don't want Fisher, don't know why he would leave

Anyone can recruit good to FSU. IM NOT impressed with him

What kind of egg will be on Dave Hart's face if Jimbo says "thanks but no thanks"? This whole deal reminds me of Matt Painter to Missouri. We all know how that went.

Fisher is a safe car. It won't get you laid or paid but it will get good gas mileage. On that front yes we could do worse.

Give me the safe car. At the very least he is going to win 9 games and finally bring us back to SEC levels across the board: assistants, players, national recognition, etc...

I'm saying I don't think Fisher has it. He's really the only guy I'd just rather not have. Safe would sound good to a lot of people after this ride we've been on.
