Jimmy Carter Appreciation Thread

My husband and I had the privilege to visit President Carter's church in Georgia a few years back and attend the Sunday School class he taught. It was an extraordinary experience for which I'll always be grateful. (And they both really were small. I'm 5'6,'' and I look like a giant in the photo we had taken with them!)

I thank Jimmy Carter, because he gave us Ronald Reagan. Reagan taught us to believe in the American Spirit. Reagan also showed us that this great country is truly the beacon of light for the world. It is the shining city on the hill. This was not possible without Jimmy Carter.

I appreciate he can never be President again, and it literally took a Manchurian candidate, and a Senile dementia patient to top him as worst president in the history of the United States.

None of them are the worst in our history.
