But that doesn't apply here, I opted to write in a candidate.
Harris was a bad choice, but better than trump.
We have another LG on our hands. Is that really your take? I not voting for Trump because he isn't Kamala. I originally intended to vote against trump, but after the debate cleared things up I'm solid in the Harris camp. I most certainly feel better about Walz taking over than I would be Vance.
Managing the economy and standing up to the Soviets were problems he wasn’t prepared to address. Interest rates, unemployment, and inflation in the late 70s make anything today seem like nothing burgers.
But he didn’t cause the oil producers to create chaos. He didn’t cause the Iranian religious zealots to take power and seize US hostages. But he did get Sadat and Begin to work things out.
Same holds true the other way, Harris is much more qualified than trump. Trump is no more than a grifter selling everything from bibles to tennis shoes out of the oval office, when he isn't on the golf course banking a $ million per weekend.
Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

I wouldn't trust any man that thought Walz was okay in any capacity.

I don't know about that. Meaning, use real world cost rises, not government reported numbers. Most things we buy are 2-3 times what they were 4-5 years ago. Depends on what we measure and how we measure it. Energy hasn't gone up double or triple but basically most every day items have. Realistically we're at the 20-30% annual inflation rate for a number of years.
Gas was $0.50/gallon in the summer of 1976. In 1978 it was $1.00/gallon.
Mortgage rates peaked at 18.4% in October 1981. A decade earlier they were around 7.5%.
Depending on what is being measured and how its being measured, I wouldn't say the last 4 years or so are nothing burgers.
My insurance went up almost 3 times in basically 2 years. You should try and find parts and such. Other things have gone down. I was paying 75-100 cents for gas in 1987, but that is only one item. Mortgage rates were something else in the early 80s. Again, depending on what we measure, when we measure it and how we measure it.... I wouldn't say the last few years are nothing burgers.
Interest rates, unemployment, AND inflation in the late 70s make anything today seem like nothing burgers.
You smoking bad stuff?Jimmy Carter Was a Terrible President — and an Even Worse Former President
Carter’s true legacy is one of economic misery at home and embarrassment on the world stage. He left the country in its weakest position of the post–World War II era. After being booted out of office in landslide fashion, the self-described “citizen of the world” spent the rest of his life meddling in U.S. foreign policy and working against the United States and its allies in a manner that could fairly be described as treasonous. His obsessive hatred of Israel, and pompous belief that only he could forge Middle East peace, led him to befriend terrorists and lash out at American Jews who criticized him.
Not knowing what it means speaks volumes of your level of intelligence.I don't even know what this means.
You are making up stories about yourself that are clearly not true by your own words. Nobody is forcing you to lie, than come out here on the forum and complain about people lying.
Exactly, which is why you voted for the drunk slut and came out here and lied about it.

Anyone trying to paint Carter as being a good President, much less better than Reagan is a complete buffoon. A new term—stagflation—had to be created to describe how bad things actually were under Carter.
not a carter hater. he was a good man but a terrible president as shown below... you loonie leftist Reagan haters are something else lol

I would say that our foreign policy and alliances, specifically Israel, are the parts that are working against America, not Carter. What kind of person looks at the last 40 years of American history and thinks our foreign policy was anything but stupid as hell? That's what JC was working against.
And he literally paved the way for the boom of the 80s. It does not happen without his appointed fed chair, and his signing off on deregulation of 3 major industries....stock market blew up in the 80s? IDK, probably has something to do with deregulating the financial industry. Deregulated trucking?....that helped blow up commerce. Deregulated the airline industry?...that made flying affordable. Reagan waltzes in, restores confidence (which is simultaneously superficial and necessary), and it worked because the substance was already there.
"Treasonous" is out of control.
When did allegiance to a foreign nation become the litmus test for being a good American?Jimmy Carter Was a Terrible President — and an Even Worse Former President
