Jimmy Carter Appreciation Thread

He meant well but did harm. That used to be the democrat party’s schtick.

Now both parties intend harm and do harm.

I think the thing that makes Clinton a relatively OK president is that he didn't GAF about anything. Republicans balanced the budget and it seemed like a popular idea? Ok, I'll sign off on it. I just feel like most other POTUSes wouldn't allow the opposition to have victories like that.

Clinton just wanted the path of least resistance, which isn't always gonna work out, but it was a good thing at the time.
He was fine with and very active in moving our manufacturing base offshore. That's a major blemish on his record.

Best way to make friends is missle attacks on residential area's killing and crippling innocents, while hoping to kill an enemy. That seems to be what you suggest
Indeed. Hamas and Hezbelloah should most certainly stop firing missles into Israeli neighborhoods crippling and killing innocents. I am glad we finally agree on something

dadgum..I posted that exact thing earlier at 4:36..exactly and without the link..

Can we not agree bombing kids is wrong?1
Obama doesn’t agree.

“I cannot comprehend how my teenage grandson was killed by a Hellfire missile, how nothing was left of him except small pieces of flesh,” Nasser told Timemagazine in October 2011.

“I urge the American people to … expose the hypocrisy of the 2009 Nobel (Peace) Prize laureate. To some, he may be that. To me and my family, he is nothing more than a child killer.”
