Originally, I listed 4 possible reasons that Biden wouldn't make it.

1) Biden would step on his genitals, and say something even more stupid than usual.
2) Biden's health, physical or mental, would take him down.
3) Biden's or his son's dealings with Ukraine /China would take him down.
4) Biden would get caught up in Spygate.

I think the first 3 are in play. It could be that Obama kept Biden away from Spygate because he was afraid Biden would f*** it up if he knew about it.

Hard to see how this country could elect as POTUS someone so obviously suffering from dementia and it appears to be getting worse. Shame on the Dems for painting themselves into that corner.

They either figured they could hide him for awhile and drag him across the finish line, or decided they had to get behind any nominee that they thought could stop Bernie. Then, they would figure out how to dump him, and put in somebody else.

It's sad that the Democrats had 4 years to find a person good enough to beat Trump. I'm loving it all that nobody they can find is smart enough to run this country better than what's already sitting in the Oval Office. Their priority is to resist Trump on any policy or idea that comes forth and #2 is to destroy America & blame Donald Trump for it. That's it. The Dems aren't smart enough to take a shower & they have nothing & it shows each passing day.

It doesn't get any better for the Dems when this current group either retires or dies in office. The ones coming in to replace them are too stupid or have such radical idiot ideas that want work the way America is/has worked been set up to work in the past.

I don't disagree about Trump, but Biden hasn't been through the presidential ringer yet, Biden isn't of sound constitution right now, he'll unravel in 6 months tops, honestly I don't think he'll make it through this election without a meltdown.

They can’t reveal they are the party of communism. And that is what Bernie would expose.

I think they have some moderates remaining in the party but Trump has set them back some 20 years and they are furious. They are fighting mad that such an idiot who is beneath them could wreak havoc on the bureaucracy. He's not one of them - a fake that has gotten rich in politics.

A couple of people on here have surmised that Cuomo is auditioning in the midst of this coronavirus situation and that might be the play at the DNC. Would not surprise me.
