Ok. You’re blaming republicans. What excuse are you going to make up for Obama, Pelosi and Reid doing nothing? You can’t blame the GOP, the democrats had large enough majorities to freeze them out of any legislative action ( see ACA).
LolThat was for two years. The first year of Obama's Administration was spent pooping beebees all day long to avert the collapse of the economy which Republicans left him to manage. Why do I have to keep reminding people that the Great Recession started over a year before Bush 43 left office? Saving the economy from total collapse came first. Health care reform was the next big thing. I would not call those two things nothing.
That was only for two years, and I do not remember the majorities being that large. The first year of Obama's Administration was spent pooping beebees every day, all day long, working to avert the collapse of the economy which Republicans left him to manage. Bush and his Party ran the country straight into the dirt. Why do I have to keep reminding people that the Great Recession started over a year before Bush 43 left office? Saving the economy from total collapse came first. Health care reform was the next big thing. I would not call those two things nothing.
Lol. And you vote for morons that tax those companies to the extent that moving to China is a better option.Lookit, I am not about to sit here and talk as if I agree with everything the Democratic Party does. But I am sick and tired of seeing all this bull. Democrats support job training programs. Republicans don't. Democrats support eliminating the tax deduction for moving companies to China. They introduced legislation to eliminate it. Republicans blocked it. McConnel refused to bring it up for a vote in the Senate. You Republicans are voting for politicians who give companies tax right offs for all of their moving expenses when they pack up and move their factories to China. Why? Because you occupy your mind avoiding the truth by believing the lies they tell. That is all you do here, repeat the lies that are spoon fed to you.
This whole post is loaded with LG level irony. The driving force behind the mortgage crisis is interesting considering some of the arguments made in this thread. The economy was already being repaired BEFORE Obama pranced in to office. Bush made the difficult decisions and set the table. BHO crushed some cars. BTW, the distressed mortgage crisis traces directly back to names like Clinton and Frank.
People with money pay more in sales tax because we buy more expensive sh!t. Terrible example. So I take you oppose other forms of regressive taxation (such as sales tax) as racist and believe we should have more progressive forms of taxation that ask those most able to pay to do so? I almost feel we've made progress here.
Ditto. I am in that same exact boat. Not only that, but people who stress the infrastructure more by having children get tax breaks rather than having to pay more. How is that fair?I have 3 houses that I pay property tax on, not including the farm and house that my wife and her sister recently inherited. I have never had children, yet have to pay to educate everybody else's. Is that fair?
Yeah well they are headed back to ChinaWhen there is an appropriate demand then Rs will be in favor of having appropriate training programs. They will oppose training programs that don’t generate net positive benefits. We don’t train people to make buggy whips on a large scale. If it is cheaper to manufacture products overseas then the issue isn’t training domestic workers, it begins with bringing the jobs back to the US.
