Joe isn't the most disappointing on the team

probably not relevant or germane to the receiver/QB connection conversation...BUT...i thought we had several plays up the middle that we actually whiffed on blocking the nose tackle (not sure that was AP's terminology for the position). AP disrupted prob 10-12 plays from that position which really effected our ability to use the throw game efficiently. Whether our center (Lane I think) just had a bad day or the blocking scheme for the entire line was weak...I don't know. Hopefully we'll have a healthy Coop Mays back this week because I figure Gators will load the box quite often to stop the run game. And prob drop 8 in coverage often as well. At this point...IMO the Florida game could be our best effort of the year... or Gators could put together a great game as well. This one is really hard to see coming. IDK

To be fair, there haven't been a lot of balls to go around. Joe completed 21 passes in both of his first two games and a little over a third are going to backs and TEs.

One wonders if DT might be questioning his decision to transfer, he's going to have to pick up the pace drastically to match the 366 yards he put up last season.
He hasn't gotten open and when he has he has dropped catchable balls. Both opposing Ds so far have played to keep everything short. I expect Heupel to scheme some deeper throws going forward after being fairly vanilla until now. But DT still has to get separation, run routes right, and catch the ball. Milton is like any other QB. He's going to throw to who he trusts and even more so if things aren't going well. That means Bru and Keyton... though Keyton hasn't had the best start either.

Thornton seems obvious. I love Keyton but he's a consideration too.

But Spraggins hasn't been very good so far either. Absolutely loved the guy from the moment he committed but Sr leaders shouldn't be the ones getting pre-snap penalties.

Thornton and to a lesser extent Keyton for sure are the most disappointing so far.
Well, the young man is leading the team in almost every category! He's 2nd in receptions with 8 to Squirrel's 10. He's 1st in reception percentage with 72.7. He's leading in yardage with 113 so far to Squirrel's 75. He's leading in yards per reception with 14.1 to Bru's 10.3. And he's the only WR with a touchdown. Let me guess, Bru has not disappointed you? He's 3rd or 4th in all of the other categories!
