This just in from the crack sports reporters at Telemundo.....Future Tennessee Head Football Coach John Gruden seen this morning at Hammers in Clinton buying slightly defective Carhart jacket, and American Eagle blue jeans. Was accompanied by Sterling Henton, who purchased a set if Saddleman seat covers and a " Deer Slayer " Realtree camouflage Tshirt.

When asked to comment, Coach Gruden flexed and screamed, "Vols B!tch!".

Sounds promising.

I've been in tears reading your posts the past couple of days. Keep up the investigation.


IMO, A lot of posters are interested in the information contained within this thread. Whether it comes to fruition will be seen towards the end of the season. Yet, his childish insults are killing this thread IHMO... thats all.

Sunshine pumper or negavol, we all want to see our team be successful. That is the common ground for us.

Look, I like Dooley and have been a big defender of his. The best thing for Tennessee is for him to be successful now. That is my desire. However, reality is starting to set in with me. It's time to start having the conversation. If you don't like it there are hundreds of threads saying the same thing over and over again of other active threads to take part in.

Get used to mediocrity then. You either adapt with the times or get left behind. People will not continue filling up a 100k seat stadium for middle of the road at best football.

See... I'm starting to wonder if the economic analysis includes selling tickets to Gators, Dawgs, Bammers, and so on. They basicially pay to come to Neyland to see their teams whip the Vols.

It's a repulsive concept, but is that how they're figuring that losing works economically?

Good for you. I commend your efforts as a small business man in this economy. I know how competative it is out there. Success, and winning, require leadership. I'm certain your employees, or TEAM if you will, are inspired and motivated by your successes.

It's that way in a lot of disciplines....like football, for instance.
