There are a lot of people who say there Tennessee fans but are happy with a losing coach. The real Tennessee fans want to win and expect to win.

Mods realize that 8000+ posts is not a novelty, its extreme dissatisfaction with failed leadership. This is an open forum, and you had to click on this "embarrassing" thread to enter it. I suggest if nudity also bothers you you may not want to visit "The Mouses Ear" or "The Katch" while in Knoxville lol.

Whats embarrassing is the number of people that are so ready to accept a loser of a coach witha loser of a record and expect to have a winner....someday....when the stars line up.......whatever.

I hate the excuses that it is hard to recruit at Tennessee. I don't like kiffin but you didn't here those excuses and Tennessee has more talent then west virgina and Boise state and other teams who are winning big games. I know those teams don't play in the sec but look at Texas talent vs west virgina and who won the game coaching matters.

Dude I have been a moderator on a forum with over 100k members for almost 8 years now. I know how to dispatch a troll lol. Its like Harry Truman said:

I agree that a loss to the Bulldoggies might trigger events behind the scenes, I still don't think we'll hear anything but speculation until the end of the month.

Many of us had heard that UGA was the trigger. Who knows, maybe it was. Time will tell.

I contend he could lose out and still be on the sidelines at Kentucky, but the decision about a change will be made before Nov 1. IF he beats Ms State, splits USCjr and KY, then wins the last 4 then he is more than likely good for another year....and I would be ok if that were to happen. Anything is possible no matter how improbable it may be.

Thing is, we could also have a budget surplus on a national level in 6 months, doesn't mean it will happen. Failed leaders are failed leaders whether it be business, sports, or politics. Failure doesnt taste any different based on the field of expertise....or lack thereof.

I think if he loses the next 3 games, he will be replaced by Sal as the interim coach. I don't think he coaches KY if he loses the next 3.

I hope that dooley don't go for a field goal again if were down 2 touchdowns like he did against Georgia.

I believe, barring public embarassment of some kind, that he will coach out the year. I also believe announcements about his replacement would be made by mid November, in the interest of recruiting.

That just pissed me off royally(see what i did there?).

My hubby said that he should be fired just for that.

To me that just says "ok I accept defeat."
