I'm letting my hopes get up.

It's gonna be a hard fall.

Like the dude that skydived from space but only the parachute doesn't open.

I took him with a grain of salt up until he posted in absolutes of both the UT AD and Arkansas AD in the same post. I then decided that, at best, everything he was posting as a fact was just his own wishful thinking and opinion, based on the circumstances we could all see. He did explain his connection after that though; friend of a booster's son or son of a booster's friend. Something like that. I have enjoyed his posts though. I decided early on that, even if he were trolling us, I still enjoyed the content. LOL.

Well, a couple of things. First, Hart is not the moron Hamilton. That's a huge plus. Next, plenty around here are saying there is interest. So get your hopes up. We'll get a much better coach.

if we don't get Gru we will get Patterson, Strong.... ..........
We will be fine.
Change is coming and I don't have to wait till Next yr.

I never read about his connections. But all I can say is I hope he is right. lol

I do know Hart like Patterson but would have to wait till the end of the season to make that move. the momentum for Gru won't wait till the end of the season.

Yeah, let him get a jump start on recruiting. Urban Meyer was allowed to for Ohio State so if it's Gruden, get this show on the road!

There are a number of coaches I'd be happy with but I must admit, Gruden winning a Super Bowl as a head coach is about as appealing as it gets.

Jon Gruden, Pete Carroll, Bob Stoops, Chris Petersen, Gary Patterson, Bret Bielema, Dan Mullen, Dana Holgorsen, Mike Gundy, Pat Fitzgerald... just go down the list until you get a yes.

Same here. He seems real sure of himself. He caught hell for saying Dooley hadn't won a game out of the state in nearly 3 seasons with Tennessee. I knew what he meant. Not on another team's field.

Hey Chavis , after all this time , I get it. Now I still think that Dooley deserved his time , but there were times I actually thought you and some others were hoping for a loss. Some of you rushed it a bit imo , but I still understand. I have had to answer that same question. I know where you were coming from now. All I wanted was for this team to win. If this happens , it has been worth all the hell this fan base has gone through.

Your dealing with young men so your tring to mold young minds look after them as you promised your parents and it's a whole lot of teaching you have more control over the team. In the NFL it's more of a business the owners and players run the show. To a pro player he see's the HC as a friend. That's just my opinion.

I never want to lose, ever. I don't think I said a word for thirty minutes after the UF game earlier this year I was so upset.

It was just the negative stuff , or what I thought was negative at the time. I have seen your posts where you have said you want to win them all. Until I had to answer people the same way , I guess I just didn't see where some people were coming from. I guess some of you knew before we did. I was holding out hope for Dooley until a few weeks ago. And there have been a few times I have read where you posted , "Why do you think I want us to lose because I don't think Dooley can get the job done?". Well when I had to say the very same thing , you get the message loud and clear. GBFO!

I've been trying to communicate this for a week on here Grizz but no one wants to hear it. I'm not saying Gruden can't do it, just that there really is a great deal of difference between dealing with professional athletes and college kids, and professional athletic organizations and NCAA schools.:banghead2:
