Add to this the FACT that we do NOT have the money to pay CDD and his staff to leave PLUS to actually DOUBLE the pay of a new incoming staff which is what it would take as a payroll to get a top named, proven, winning coach to finish this rebuilding mess that CDD ia 1/2 finished with.

I'll believe that CDD is getting fired when I see the press release.

Until then I believe CDD stays here this season and next season.

If Gruden is even slightly interested in being the HC at Tennessee then the deep pockets will make it happen. There is no doubt in my mind about that.

The idea that Hart has started the process to hire Gruden and fire Dooley is silly. If Dooley wins 7-8 games he will be here next year. This recruiting class is very important, and firing Dooley would cause us to miss out on the big names we are in on. The AD and board want to see what Dooley does when all of the players he has are his. We cant afford the attrition a coaching change would cause right now. That's just my opinion.

Ok, wasn't going to, but here it is. I met with Hart and handed him 250k the Tuesday after Florida. That warranted a 2 hour tour of facilities and lunch. You guys are wrong about the current though process. That's it.

Absolutely. And some of these "prize" recruits we have commited right now would be shown the door to make room for the 5 stars licking their chops to play for Gruden.

Thanks for your generosity to our University. It's impressive. I wish we all had the means to do that.

The class would be upgraded immensely. The sooner Gruden is installed --if he is installed- the better the class. If he is installed before 12-1 we will have a top 10 class.

I've heard that one of the first things Hart did when he became AD was to get $5 Mil pledged from the boosters to cover Dooley's departure if necessary.

Anything is possible I'm just saying that even in the boosters what they should do is conflicted.
