That's what you get with a bunch of scabs. Jon Gruden wasn't pleased....at all.

No....having a candidate located, and understanding his level of interest is all I've ever asserted. Having put an emphasis on winning the Georgia game as a condition of continued employment, is also all I've asserted. Those are preliminary steps to making a change.

I must apologize.....I wasn't aware we were exceeding the level of your reading comprehension.

Can your 9 year old carry on a conversation without throwing out insults to someone who doest agree with them? You have nothing to support your comments on Georgia as a must win for continued employment other than the "my source" B.S.

It's still of more value than your "opinion". And that particular stipulation has been triangulated by more than just myself.

You have every right not believe what I posted as accurate, but no reason to insinuate that what I stated was less than truthful.

Highly doubtful. I don't doubt in your mind you believe what you are sayin is true.

Not going to read 109 pages of this rumor, but I just wanted to add that if this somehow came true, I'd seriously embarrass myself in celebration.
He's the only home-run hire I can even imagine that would at least answer a phone call from Dave Hart.

I absolutely love the unwritten internet rule about sources. They can never, ever be wrong....or they don't exist. And if you're not willing to give their name, home address and SS# then the don't exist.

But without information, what a boring medium this would be.

I'm not doubting that your source doesn't exist, it just appears that he is way off the mark. You were saying that what you had to say was of more value because of your source and that his opinion didn't matter. His opinion is just as good as your source.

The fact remains, despite what you see as the validity of my source I'm not the only one that posted this information concerning the Georgia game or a process being underway.

That seems the most likely time for an announcement.

Which is consistent with what Yay4Bray said earlier in the thread..Look I have no clue what's going on behind the scenes,I just go on what I hear..That's all...There's too much smoke to not be fire if you know what I mean.:wink2:

I have a source too. A cousin who is a big booster. Unfortunately he is not telling me anything beyond "I won't give one penny for another buyout "

I've heard that one of the first things Hart did when he became AD was to get $5 Mil pledged from the boosters to cover Dooley's departure if necessary.

No doubt. So what if one booster doesnt give 1 penny for another buyout, there are plenty more lined up that will.

The idea that Hart has started the process to hire Gruden and fire Dooley is silly. If Dooley wins 7-8 games he will be here next year. This recruiting class is very important, and firing Dooley would cause us to miss out on the big names we are in on. The AD and board want to see what Dooley does when all of the players he has are his. We cant afford the attrition a coaching change would cause right now. That's just my opinion.

^^^ This is intelligent locic^^^

Add to this the FACT that we do NOT have the money to pay CDD and his staff to leave PLUS to actually DOUBLE the pay of a new incoming staff which is what it would take as a payroll to get a top named, proven, winning coach to finish this rebuilding mess that CDD ia 1/2 finished with.

I'll believe that CDD is getting fired when I see the press release.

Until then I believe CDD stays here this season and next season.

VFL...GBO!!!

I know a couple of mid level donors that have said if the AD is not willing to take a step when its needed they will find something else to support.
