LMAO @ Grudenites.

Gruden isn't going anywhere unless he gets fired from thes comfy job he has now.

I'm also still waiting for the list of names that will fork over $20 Million or more to try and replace CDD with someone better that will actually accept the job to finish the rebuilding process.

Whatever makes you feel good about yourself. Just because you and the rest of the Doorights are accepting of mediocrity, does not mean we all have to be. We all love our Vols in our own way....we just differ on what is best.

I think there's a huuuuge gap between being a "Doolite," and simply wanting a big time coach, but knowing there is realistically almost no chance that Gruden is coming here.

So this is the second time you've called Gruden to UT, if my thread skimming has served me correctly? Wow.

If you have concrete information concerning Coach Gruden we'd love to hear it.

This time....as the first, was simply me running with the information I was supplied that supported my desire. I will say, there is more smoke now than there was 3 years ago.

I'm certainly far from the only one that called it and had their hopes dashed by a small-minded AD, and his botched hiring process.

Turn 51 this year, have been a fan for over 40 years. Just because I have zero faith in Gruden coming here and if he did would be successful has nothing to do with Dooley. I have reserved judgement on DD till the end of this year based on the shape the program was in when he started.

I remember the Majors rebuilding and the conference is much tougher now than what it was then and it took a good 6 to 7 years before talent and depth began appearing all over the field.

The battle cry from the Nega's about this fanbase accepting mediocrity is nothing more than a lie. I do not know a single Vol fan that enjoys losing nor do I know any that is happy with the past 4 seasons. Some of our fans think there is a magic bullet out there and all you have to do is buy it. As long as Saban is in Bama, it will be difficult to get the best players from there to come here to play, same goes for Louisiana, Georgia, Florida and Texas. The best talent in those states will continue to stay in state as long as those programs are top 10.
