You know as well as I do the what the level of conversation used to be around here. How is saying it bad, or bringing it up?

It's one thing to have a good time, which is what it's all about. it's another to have to wade through the muck to find something even remotely close to a logical thought.

I have been here for years and the level of conversation has not changed.....There are a few less pompous idiots that think they know everything and look down on everyone else....im just so glad we are blessed with your superior knowledge from years of coaching on the xbox lol

Believe me, I get that. But you also know that there are 100 ways to post something and if you choose to go the "you're a moron" route, the thread goes up in smoke in no time flat. All I'm asking for is just a modicum of tact.

It's frustration mostly. And as I said, I don't deal with blatant stupidity very well.

Can you please explain your level of disrespect for myself then, using your above post as a barometer? I simply made a "respectful" suggestion that you remove the cloud of vague uncertainty surrounding the insinuation that some "higher level" coaches may have attended some games. This of course, was met with hostility and disingenuous remarks about myself and my schooling.

I didn't know as much about basketball when I first joined VN as I do now. A couple years ago, I was met with NYYVol's, hatvol's, and LawVol's cumulative disrespect and barrage of insults. None of them cared to tell me the facts or steer me in the right direction, they just preferred to talk trash. I never understood why they chose to do that.

But LawVol actually started having civil discussions with me, and we ended up agreeing on a lot of things. It's tough to discover the common ground when you just hurl insults at everyone.
