Josh Heupel = Gus Malzahn 2.0

Sorry meant one. It’s fine to admit Joe is a bust. Not going to hurt anyone’s feelings.
I mean sure Joe has had some up and down moments for sure. However I don't understand why every week there is a thread created to trash the guy. Our coach is going to stick with him, because Joe was loyal. CJH is doing it right. Yesterday was a TEAM let down. Milton will be drafted which is good for recruiting etc. Nico gets to mature and be ready for next year

I don’t claim to want to start Nico. However, reason of loyalty is not a good point. There is a thread because, he’s not good…

A coach that sticks by his kids is why parents send their kids here. Joe isn't a bad qb. We just dont have many stud players around him either. Right now, we are an average football team. The only way to change that is to recruit. Help is on the way but we need to at least see Heupel’s first senior class.

Don’t be mad just because I brought facts to your emotional display. If you’re going to make a comparison and take shots, back it up. The difference in production on that chart is too wide to make a comparison here.
Here ya go 'fact' boy.

-GMs record through 3 years at Auburn was 27-13 (13-11 sec). JHs record 26-13 (14-10).

-GMs record against Aub's 3 biggest rivals = 3-6. JHs record = 2-7.

-GMs best year was year one at auburn. JHs best year was year one at UCF.

Wow! I had no idea they were that similar until you lacked any facts!

Nice cherry-picking. Heup’s best year was easily year 2 at Tennessee. It’s ok, you’ll pick up the flow of making rational arguments. 😂

Doesn’t change the fact that JH and GM are not remotely the same kind of “exciting offensive mind”.

In full seasons, every one of Heupel's offenses has been better than every one of Malzahn's.

Gus isn’t even a brilliant offensive mind, and this comparison is just absolutely false. Try again.
Malzahn's offense sux

If Heupel cant replicate his offense from last year...where do you think this is heading? Next year doesnt look to be much better, does it?

Yeah, I think it does. Recruiting getting better, Nico, elite running backs coming back.... I thought Joe played subpar to start the season but made a huge turn around. Unfortunately for him, he lost Bru McCoy and we don't have another receiver as physical as him. Another season in a college weight program can help with that.

Hooker had a lot to do with our success last season and the season before. Nico can be Hooker-esque.

The Missouri game pissed me off too. It was probably the angriest I've been over a Vol football game since the 2016 SC game, but a NY6 bowl this year still isn't the playoffs or a championship, regardless. And with the playoff expanding, I like our chances of making the dance pretty consistently, and if you do that, you give yourself a chance to win a natty.

8-4 next year.
Losses will be the usual suspects
Florida
Georgia
Alabama
(new) Oklahoma
Then Heupel's 5th year will have him sitting on flames. A person cannot be the HC of football at UT and have a sign hanging around his neck "I cannot beat any of those 3 teams listed." 1-4 against Bama and 0-5 against Georgia will have him going down the interstate somewhere.

I think Milton is just OK and the defense sucks

You can't leave your defense on the field for 45 minutes of 60. This game was on the OC! AND CJH. He is responsible for the Offensive Performance, at least He had Better start; If He is that Good. The new OC ain't making it! Stupid play calling. JOSH better take the reins or Josh will on the seat.
