‘23 JUCO OT Larry Johnson III ( Tennessee commit)

You can tell he's a big dude watching the game. He made a block on a 4th and short. His team is getting smacked in the first half so they haven't been on offense much.

Yes their QB is not helping his team at all. But Johnson looks ok, he's moving well for a guy his size. You have to think a good weight program, nutritionist and better coaching, he could really improve.

No. It was about a guy who used statistics to put together a cheap baseball team in Oakland that won a pennant. It would be worth the watch. Based on a true story.

They intentionally got rid of top players and fit mediocre players together.

They did not “intentionally” get rid of top players. They couldn’t afford top players, so they identified a market inefficiency and leveraged it heavily to build a team of undervalued players.

In the movie, they intentionally let high salary guys go. And it wasn't just undervalued players.

In the Tuesday VQ podcast, Cain blurted out the groanworthy “He looks like a guard to me!” in reference to Johnson. 🤮 When did 6’7 behemoths with long arms become IOL prototypes? His feet will determine his position imo. RN I see Wright’s immediate replacement.

One of the many reasons I can’t stand him lol I feel like the rest of the guys don’t say anything because they have pity on him for saying stuff like that

Your QB better be 6'10"

I’ve never seen him in person and I’ve never seen him move. Weighing 350+ as a tackle in this offense is not great. That’s why. But again that’s not having seen him on the field. They’ll find the right place for him.

-Cain’s response to calling him a guard on the Pod.

Seems irresponsible to ignorantly speculate on a commit’s future position on the Pod without watching him play.

Cain does an entire solo podcast without doing any research. He can't even pronounce his ad reads correctly half the time. I was so surprised when he got the slot at VQ over Ben McKee, who at least attempts to put in the leg work to have knowledge on a particular topic.

Ben McKee did work at VQ. He switched to 247 and Ramey switched to VQ. Would love to know the details on why that happened

I know he did, but they didn't take him along in the transition. They kept Cain instead. I don't know why.

Not a fan.

Yes recruiting services miss every single year. But they get it right way more often than get it wrong. Here is the fact to my argument about this. The teams with the most blue chip players win the most at the highest level. End of story.

Ok, I'll bite.

The whole chicken or egg thing again.

Are they blue chips because of recruiting services or blue chips because of who offered?
