Vols surprisingly didn't push as hard for Payton as the other schools. Ole Miss put the full court press on for a good month. Payton has to bulk up some but when he does, this kid has NFL potential due to size (6'1) speed (4.46) fluidity, & explosiveness. I'm biased but I think he is better than most of the WR UT took in this class but I haven't seen the guys they took up close And personal like I have Payton

From a talent standpoint, Payton would have been #2 behind the Canadian from Ft Lauderdale.

Jones and Murphy are pretty dang good tho.

Payton will do well down in Oxford.

Kid will be close but should qualify. He knows what's at stake.

Too many times people make statements without knowing much about what some of these kids go through in their personal lives that can affect them throughout all aspects of life.
