the onus is on nobody for you to know something about your own beliefs and where they're rooted. I don't care what you believe and have no dog in the fight, so trying to justify your position by lumping me with the snakehandlers doesn't work.No, that's a line of thought to try and convince people that atheists/agnostics are forming their own "religion". The onus is on the person who presents the hypothesis to prove it correct. Turning it around does not work.
We all have to answer our own fundamental questions about our life and nobody else owes us jack for answers. Cruising along thinking your viewpoint isn't rife with assumptions is preposterous and has absolutely nothing to do with religion.
