keep posting tenn84 :) i would like to have Strong as a HC,i liked him better than Dooley,at the time,Jimbo will be a good option,he has been the HC there how many years ?

While most of the names on the list are some we've seen a lot of the addition of Gundy is interesting. it's shame some are beating him as a loser with a so-so record but look at that conference he has to compete in not to mention in state with Stoops and Oklahoma....
Teaxas, Texas Tech, TCU, Oklahoma and Kansas St

...not exactlly a bunch of push-overs.FWIW Gundy was the OC for three years at OSU under no other than Les Miles. Miles left in 2004 for LSU and Gundy has been the HC since. Has a 66-34 record there and that's not bad in that conference since. He maybe wanting a change of scenery

By the way, my source also has some connections to the Titans....he says Munchak is on a short leash right now.

According to my source, Gundy is still considered a long shot, mainly because of how much money OK State and T. Boone can pay him. Some see this as simply an attempt by Gundy to get a raise.

Anyway, our four main candidates at the moment are Fisher, Strong, Golden, and Dabo Swinney. Fisher and Strong are both likely to interview at some point next week, although specific details are being kept tight lipped. Apparently, the boosters would rather have Strong but Hart is leaning towards Fisher. Golden is also likely to interview with Dave in the near future, but we are still waiting to hear back from Swinney's agent. Dabo is more of a wildcard candidate in case the other guys all turn us down, but apparently he and Hart know each other. Besides these four, the only other person being considered is Dana Holgorsen but he is a real longshot at this point.

One other interesting thing I was told...despite what some other people have said, there really is no friction between Hart and the boosters regarding the Gruden situation. Both parties agreed that Gruden's terms would be pretty much impossible to meet, so they all agreed to move on and look at other candidates. The one thing that might cause some friciton at this point is if Hart decides to go with Fisher, when most of the boosters want Charlie Strong.

That's the bad thing with pulling any HC out of that area....there's loads of money. Gundy is around at $3.78 Million already. That's close to almost a million more than Fedora at UNC
