Just like USC did in football, Hart should fire

I want Pearl!!

Sarcasm or serious?

Any school that would rehire a coach that led them into an NCAA investigation that followed with said coach receiving a show-cause penalty is a school begging to be under constant scrutiny by the NCAA. They would nail us for even the slightest of offenses. In short, Pearl is not an option, and those dreaming otherwise need to face reality and accept it.

Then we should boycott games until UT gets rid of this pathetic loser !!!

Demand better UT fans !!!

Demand all that you want because, just like young children, you don't get what you want by just constantly demanding it and whining. Not showing up to games will not get Cuonzo fired any faster. It will, however, reduce the income of the athletic department that you want to hire some expensive proven winner of a coach.

I demand better UT fans all the time, but I'm still stuck reading crappy posts like yours.

So, let's say Hart fires Cuonzo, then what? Who do we hire? Who's going to want to come here and coach? Mind you, UT is not going to pay a whole lot for a basketball coach. We're not KY. We spend our money in football. So save me the time of looking on my own, who does UT reasonably have a shot at that can come in and make these wholesale changes you want, immediately, at a bargain price?

We're in good shape then because I demand that too. Unfortunately coach bootlicking sheeple keep popping up.

I am pretty sure most or all fans don't like to lose. But they don't call for the coach's job after game 9 and are always here after a loss. Actually irrational fans keep popping up. Funny how that happens.

Were you born in '87? Seems more like you were born in 2003 with all the 6th grade playground namecalling you got going on.

We are just a school.

Don't fool yourself. UT is a football school. Basketball has always been a second thought. It only comes to the forefront when football is struggling. And yeah, that sucks for UT basketball fans that watch religiously and want success, but it is what it is. If we're contending in football, there's a lot less interest in basketball.

FTR, I would love to see us contend in both sports, but the AD makes its money from football. We'll always be a football first school.

Then we the fans should create a financial incentive effective IMMEDIATELY, by refusing to show up for another single game until this administration hires us a winner.

Yeah, just like we have done for football too. Oh, wait.......

So what motivation does the AD have to remove an underperforming, average coach?

If you think not showing up for games is going to entice any coach to come coach here, then I can't help you.

Even Pearl wouldn't come back if we treated the basketball program that way.

The attendance will drop on it's own. People are starting to see what some of us saw after he first got here, he can't coach. Plain and simple.

Just take somebody out of the stands who has played high school ball, at least they would know how to break a zone defense.

I was just making a point for all the people that want Pearl back.

Yea, sorry. But our fans are amazing in that they think any coach will come here. Our basketball history suggests that we will always hire an up and comer.

Oh yeah, that will really help lure a great coach here; fans stop showing up after their 6-3 team lost on the road to a 10-0, #12 team that made the Final Four last year.

I'm sure any coach would just jump at a shot to coach at a place like that.

A team we beat a year ago without Maymon. In addition, their best player was plying on a bum ankle. Let's face it, Cuonzo is a great guy buy not a very good BB coach.
