Almost to the level of players toting guns and weed and rolling down I-40 in the middle of the night.....but not quite

Please tell me he's been smashing the girl that tried to eat Da'rick's face

Haha I'd rather not get into it especially on here people will decide I'm full of it. I could care less honestly as the football team doesn't mean much to me I just find it funny some of his smoking habits. Cough cough(and that he doesn't even try to hide at all)

Maybe if we beat UT 26 years in a row in basketball...you would understand. Maybe.

I have said this before...UK hasn't had any issues for a long time. I do have a few connections at UK. I was told that cal as an assistant that follows him everywhere to keep him in line.

Yes, cal did run from programs after they/him were punished. But admit it, he is a great coach. He has taken 3 programs to final fours. Hell, anyone that takes UMass to a final four should get a gold medal.

But zero titles. He isn't being paid that kind of money to finish 3rd or 4th. In the end, he better win a title.

Yeah, been a long time. But...if Tubby can do it, anyone can.

eh i dont know that i would jump to that conclusion, if it was that easy cal would have multiple championships. i wonder how many #1 recruiting classes that guy has had in his career.

Tubby was a great coach and a decent recruiter. He won a Championship in his 1st year. Cal is a good coach and a great recruiter. He hasn't.

Seems to me Cal is due a championship eventually.

great recruiter without a doubt. i still think how good of a coach remains somewhat up for debate.

:groupwave::groupwave::groupwave:

well here's why i feel that way...
in 6 of the last 7 years coach cal has had a top 6 class, and in the last 3 years had the number 1 recruiting class each year. he is the only coach in the last 7 years to have more than 2 classes in the top 5 and not win a national championship. the other 3 teams that have had top 5 classes 2 or more times are kansas, duke and unc who have combined for 5 of the last 10 championships.

i think it kind of says something that cal cant win a championship with the talent he has had. the fact that he has the last 3 #1 classes is really starting to expose this even more.

I'm not gonna do the research but I'd be curious to know if those recruiting classes won the title their fresnen season?

Hard to ever settle in with a revolving door of talent.

your absolutely right but does it ever reach a point to where it doesnt matter. what im asking is how many more years of ncaa tourney runs ending in the elite 8 or sweet 16 does it take before there starts to be some rumblings???

I'd say the first 2 didn't matter. But good point. Anything less than a Final 4 would be a failure this year. With the talent and depth UK has this year they can (and will) go far.

2 months helps a lot. Teague needs help.

Lots. U keep a piece or two from last years team, plus thus years n add next year.

People don't realize how low our talent level had fallen when wall n co. Left it was not much better than when cal got there. We have to, and will, get to a place where we are able to have quality depth on the bench. Even now, we really only go 1, 2 deep max.

dont start with the will anything can happen, from living in kentucky during the wall and cousins year all uk fans thought the trophy was theirs already, then they met a wvu team that could play d. they could run into a bad match up or an injury to davis or gilchrist would dampen expectations as well.

so how long without an ncaa championship before we would start hearing rumblings?

and when you lose 6 to the nba again this year you will be in the same boat next year. at some point i really feel like they will have to recruit some guys that are going to stay more than 1 year.

He has 1 Final Four. And none with UMass.
