So you are in the group that found Trumpism worthwhile and appropriate. No problem. I'm not in that group. Nor is the majority...and certainly not history. We'll never know for sure if someone else would have beaten Hillary. We do know that in 2008 and 2012 the GOP nominee lost and was widely criticized for not fighting hard enough. As a result Republican voters decided to nominate a fighter. That fighter did not disappoint. He won and they'll soon have 3 nice, shiny pieces to show for it on the highest court in the land for years to come
Don't know if it's been discussed yet, but there's a lot of chatter about the Dems just boycotting the scotus hearing. I think it's a good idea because (1) they can't prevent the nomination, (2) challenging the appointee is a possible hornet's nest (religion, race (if Trump goes with the Latina), and sex issues), (3) does a good job of conveying how effed up the GOP move here is, and (4) allows more efforts to be devoted to the election.
Hold them but no Democrats show up, boycott instead. That might say more than to have all the nasty attacks against a female nominee that will be used to hammer their candidates prior to the election. In the end, hearings now change nothing.
Just thought it would be a nice gesture for the millions who hold RBG in high regard and are saddened by the fact she is inappropriately being replaced by Trump.

I gave each what they needed, that's rarely equal portions.Well happy birthday. Did you have a socialist birthday party where everyone got an equal share of your cake?
Sounds great.I gave each what that needed, that's rarely equal portions.
But yes, it was great.
We had a party at my daughter's place in Atlanta, then walked to a big brewery and had more than enough beer. It was a beautiful day and thousands were out on the beltline. Never could find the antifa rioters burning Atlanta to the ground.
