I eat lunch every month with people I used to work with and I'm amazed that half of them want to work after they retired. Why retire and come back to the same company to endure the same **** you put up with for decades? I don't get it.

Yep. Like I tell my protégés as long as I need a job I’ll have a job. When I don’t need it anymore to live I won’t have it. I make it clear that I hade no idea if I’ll come back and consult or not but if I do it will be with rigid boundaries. I won’t work more than 20 hrs a week, I’m done traveling, and I retain veto power over whatever I work on. It won’t be a job at that point t will be a hobby. And if you want to drag me in there I’m gonna gross around my normal salary for 20 hrs on what I gross now in 40.

I have no fricking idea how this is going to play out. Trump rushing someone through might turn of some undecideds but the Blue base going bonkers and burning crap as a result will swing them right back.

The big wild card is that this election will likely end up in the courts and it's an even number of judges - 4/4 rulings are going to just muck it up more.
