Kamera Harris commits to Tennessee

Our defensive style of over-playing requires a shot blocking presence. We haven't had one in ages. It will be a tale of beauty and the beast. Russell can make cutesy layups and soft shots while Harris can be the intimidator. Good get!

A good shotblocker and someone willing to do the blue collar work in the paint, grabbing boards etc. could be a really good fit for this team.

It is very easy for good players to get under rated if they are not able to get to the right showcase camps and other events which register on the radar screens of ranking services.

She broke Griner's single game block record, which is a promising accomplishment to have on your resume.

develop an Ocean CJ ? sorry,I just had to ask :)

It can be done, gov......Been done before'....

Shooter, driver, defender, passer, balll-handler.... Basketball is a very easy game that is very hard to master. But for the most part it is muscle memory, mechanics and reps. They just need a good skills coach (An Alpha).

Moriah Jefferson graduated as a completely different player from the one who showed up as a freshman. She played out of control, couldn't shoot, was a shaky ball handler. I enjoyed watching her fail to live up to the expectations of the UConn faithful. Then April of her freshman year came around...

Comparing her numbers as a freshman to this year, she improved in every category...especially her outside shooting and passing. It can be done. Now, I just want to see one of the Tennessee guards show this level of improvement.

Damn right mule. This young lady seems to have a good work ethic. Having a player who is willing to be tenacious in rebounding and defense in a game is worth something.

It is her next few moves that will decide her future.

Kamera and Kyra... Timing is interesting.

Welcome, im sure she will do well. Holly has to allow her to grow. Nia could've contributed much more and showed she had a nice offensive touch but holly played her inconsistently and that can affect a players confidence.

I'll be honest, all this lets get another coach stuff is coming from the Fans,I can't see the AD being mad at CHW for making 3 elite 8s and a Sweet 16

should there have been one or two FF in there and a Championship game ? maybe

I would love for them to have a fairly healthy team thru the regular season and the Tournament this coming season, which it seems to be a tough thing for CHWs teams

She committed on Sunday but didn't announce until today so she could let all the other coaches know before it came out. Had nothing to do with Kyra and everything to do with Holly.

Tennessee has been her dream school. She almost signed in November but decided to wait until April to improve her options. Glad she did.

She held an offer from Oregon State, the same school that just made the final four, as well as other SEC schools.

Hey, great idea. Someone hook her up with Alvin Kamara.

In the WNBA, she would be Kamera Kamara.

Epic women's pro basketball name IMO.

I think she is a five star defensively and a two star offensively but we already have shooters on our team. To bad they miss more than they make.
