I just don’t understand this angle. He can’t cause cases to be presented to the court. It’s not like he walks in on day 1 and says put Roe v Wade on the board we’re wrecking this bitch.

Why would Ford's lawyers be complaining the FBI did not interview Ford during this new investigation? They had sworn testimony from her. What else would they need? Any attorneys care to opine?

I don't care if he's lying about what he had for breakfast. Fact is, he consciously lied under oath before the Senate judiciary committee and he did it to further his chances of being confirmed. All he had to do was to admit that he drank excessively as a youth and said various things that were hurtful to and/or demeaning of women because he was, at the time, caught up in a machismo culture, which he no longer subscribes to. The reason he didn't do that, I suspect, is because if it looked like he was a hostile drunk frat boy, Ford's story would be much more believable and his denials more suspect.

For those that are concerned that K will take away your or your lady friend's rights away to abort any future "mistakes" you make, rest assured he won't. It is ok. The sun will come up again tomorrow.

They needed a few more "i don't know" responses from ford to drive some poor career fbi agent over the edge to retire early.

You are probably right, and I have no problem with someone voting no on him because they think he was untruthful about that in the hearing. It just isn't as important to me as the underlying accusation and I'm left not knowing with any degree of confidence what happened; certainly not to the point that I think I can say definitively that he is not qualified.

And of course I am fine with a no vote based solely on the fact that he is likely to rule in ways that hurt a progressive agenda, just as I am fine with people voting yes because they think he will promote a conservative one. That's the say the system works. If the Dems are unhappy about that they should have gotten off their lazy azzes and gotten more people to the polls.

I will say this. Given the upset result of the 2016 election I doubt they will make that mistake for some time to come.

My sister is an a7 weinie flake liberal. I opened my Facebook to delete it a few days ago and saw she was opining about K being a rapist, Not fit for scotus, again with no proof. Just her statements.
If my sister makes a statement you need to check it 8 times, my whole family knows this. We just shake our heads. Her logic has been flawed since we were kids. She's gotten herself in trouble with it and expected me to get her out of it constantly. I stopped saving her years ago.
