Kavanaugh Confirmation

Why would he be vindictive?
He made it sound that way. Maybe he won't but I don't believe him. I'm not sure what happened with the assault but he absolutely lied about some things. Little things like that chip at the credibility of a job that shouldn't have those questions. Way too important a position

He lied? Prove it or STFU.

Good grief, this is what I mean by team sport. I've said he should get confirmed, I've said there was not enough evidence to disqualify him (that is called supporting presumption of innocence), I've said this was a shitshow of political theater, and I've said nothing in his career on the bench shows me unprofessionalism.

sounded like you were saying supporters only cared about R vs D - my investment in this was firmly about principle that applies regardless of team.

I wasn't referring to your position but rather the suggestion that supporters or detractors only cared about the letter after the name of the nominator.

How about oh I don’t know a sentator is that too important of a job to have a credibility issue ? People act like this one man is going to bust in amongst the other judges an tell them what and how to vote . He’s replacing Kennedy a conservative republican is replacing a conservative republican . Next up AB now you will change the court with her .

"what goes around comes around."
I think if you look at the context, I think a good case could be made that he's not vowing revenge as much as he's decrying the hyper-politicization of the confirmation process and the impact it's sure to have on future confirmations.

Hopefully. I just view it as unlikely based on watching him this past week.

And so are those claiming this is a victory for the Constitution. Going to call them out too?
What is unconstitutional in his appointment? While it was a complete crap show the senate voted and he was confirmed. Im not sure I get the reference you’re referring to other than he has a pretty solid record in the bench of applying the law.
