If VQ is saying UGA is the target return date then that’s probably the optimistic timeline. We may not see him until a bowl.

Why can't Carter play the MLB spot. Why is he only a WLB? Is it purely a size thing. They should at least try him out to see if he is better than Herring.

Agree…Heup’s injury reports are meaningless. If he confirms the guy is out for Saturday, you should check the obituaries and if he says back by mid-season, you need to ask which season.

I understand why the evasiveness is necessary for competitive reasons. But, as a person who follows these guys throughout the year (or career in the case of Cooper), I wish we could know a little more.

He got 4 tackles, but so did a handful of others and Herring had 5. Not sure why he got the game ball, but he was a factor. This isn’t good, but it seems we have plenty of production in that area.

Injuries suck. I know we’re not the only team that deals with it but losing Tillman early in Game 3 last year blew, and now we’re losing a starting LB in Game 1. I just hope we can manage to stay mostly healthy this year. I want to see what this team can do with a clean bill of health.

MLB is the QB of the linebackers. That is a big ask of a kid barely out of high school.
