I do not know why people want to get rid of him for one mistake, not two or three, ONE mistake.Dude has been loyal and blead Orange since he got here. This is the same guy who painted his chest Orange for a game. The same guy who kicked off the face of our team at the time in Tyler Smith. If im not mistaken there is another coach in the SEC who has two teams in trouble and one about to be in trouble, you know who im talking about, and is still coaching. So if your wanting to go back to 5,000 people in the stands and 10 wins in a season go right ahead. KEEP PEARL!!!!!!!!!!

The calipari argument, for the 10000000000000th time, has nothing to do with this situation. It sounds ridiculous people that justify pearl's shortcomings by what calipari does.

Also, it might be worth getting down to ten grand worth of fans again if it means people like you boycotts all things TBA.

Just out of curiousity what was the mistake? Was it too many calls, having kids at his house he wasn't allowed to recruit off campus, having his picture taken with said kids, or lying about all of it?

Personally, I think it was lying about it. I have really no problem with the rest of it, just curious about your take.

If you get rid of Pearl you are gonna loose alot of fans. Tennessee basketball was nothing until he got here.

Did you guys read the article where all the college coaches say they are all cheating when it comes to phone calls?

Calling a recruit extra times is like driving a few MPH over the speed limit, everyone does it.

Everyone does not give money to recruits by using out of state boosters.

If all we know so far is all that comes out, we are fine...if not...

When has Cal been banned from off-campus recruiting for a year or had his and his staff's salary reduced by 25%?

I'll hang up and listen to the intelligent responses to this question.

That's just because there's an NCAA conspiracy to let Cal by with whatever he does. Come on, JZVOL, everyone knows that.

If Pearl had only made one mistake, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

Hasn't happened because he is gone by the time the school gets penalized.

That would be a great point if the 'AA hadn't placed recruiting restrictions on Kelvin Sampson at Indiana for his conduct at Oklahoma. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good rant.

:eek:k::good!::yes: Evenh though he made one mistake, it shouldn't hurft him.Besides, is there anyone out there as good as he is and take the Vols to where we are now or even better? Hisd salary was cut and so was the staff. I think that was enough.

NO Wade, Buzz , kevin or Jerry!!! Thats what we came from and we will be back to that if bruce is forced out! Now if we keep him and 5 -10 years from now he decides to move on somewhere then we can get any coach we want because of what bruce built. Right now we are in infancy of becoming Elite.

Keep Bruce, he made a serious mistake, but will never do it again, or anything like it again. He has done a tremendous amount of positive things for our university and will continue to do so in the future.

I just want folks to know that the moment Bruce is fired or resings. Someones seat who was just a tad warm will be TERMINATED and Bruce will be building a dynasty there. So do you want him to keep building here or while we go back to soime Honest LOSER some other team moves up to regulars at sweet 16.

Yes, having serious NCAA violations and penalties is just a part of growing into an elite program. Get real, man.

I'm sick of everybody who acts as if BP is irreplaceable. That simply isn't the case. Should Bruce be fired, we'll plug in a good coach and move forward. UT Basketball is FAR bigger than Bruce Pearl.

GBO!

Ask kentucky if the years they have been on probation didnt pay off. You get real! In this era you know the motto. "IF YOU AIN"T CHEATING YOU AIN"T TRYING". Every program cheats we just got caught and lied about it. So what Peter denied Jesus 3 times but Jesus still entrusted Peter with alot of things. people make bad decisions under pressure sir because we are imperfect. You as a LAWYER should understand that.
