are u serious? he is to pass happy when we r running the ball. no imagination at all. he finds whats working then goes the opposite direction.

No way. Here's Chaney: 1st and10 run for 8 yards. 2nd an 2, throw a 30 yard pass. 3rd and 2, throw a 30 yard pass incomplete. Punt.

After listening to him give his interview today,

I hope we keep him.

He's got his stuff in order and has a level head on his shoulders.

It is level because of all the counterbalancing below the neck.

What does that guy do, eat 23 hours a day?

Did you Pro Chaney folks watch the Vandy game? The terrible UT defense, after holding Vandy to a FG on their first drive.... The next 5 Vanderbilt drives resulted in Vandy punting the ball. 4 of the 5 drives were 3 and outs and the other was 4 plays. In total, the offense had 8 possessions in the first half and managed 10 points...against Vandy! Those 8 possessions went like this...Punt, Downs, Punt, Punt, Touchdown, Interception, Interception, Field Goal.

In the second half we get the kickoff, the game is tied, and we Punt, Interception, Downs, Punt, Downs, Punt, Punt, and CP takes one to the house on a PR. That's it for the high flying offense.

Our D makes opposing QB's look like Heisman Candidates, but the O in the this game made Vandy's D look like Alabama. Yeah, it's one game, but it's the last game and it's Vanderbilt. We were out coached on both sides of the ball. Should not happen.

Vol66 is right. 35ppg is impressive but going brain dead and forgetting about running the ball has killed us. Like last game when our backs were averaging 7 and 5 yards per carry each.

Nahh, i've seen enough of 3rd and 1's with a 30 yard pass play called..

What I've seen enough of is: a perfect play call getting a guy wide open deep only to have the perfectly thrown ball go through the hands of one or the other of our "sure-fire first round draft picks". I like Chaney's game.

We're second in the conference in first downs (you know the "you must move the chains" you run-happy guys keep harping on). The offense's job is a) score points, and b) move the ball (and 'b' is way way behind 'a' in importance). Chaney's offense does both.

As I said, it's the most recent game and while I make a little fun of Vandy, the truth is they have a pretty good D, before the game ranked #26 in total D, and better than that in their pass defense. Their weakness, on D is/was against the run and we should have exploited it AND it would've shortened the game. We might still have lost, but it wouldn't have been the BLOWOUT it turned into.

Look, part of it is Chaney and part of it is Bray, obviously. Take out all the OOC games, just look at the SEC game stats and look at completion % and the TD/INT's ratio of our QB since he became the starter.

Not sure what that means, what are you looking at?

This year alone, in 7 SEC games Bray has thrown for 15 TD's and 11 interceptions.

Total, in all games he has 30 TD's and 12 INT's.

Cheney beats UK by 45 points and Hart says "what have we got here?" And offers him the 2.5 mill per year job as HC...

Naaaaaaaa. Just messing.

I think he calls plays designed to give the best players the ball.

He might not run the ball much but its for good reason.. we don't have an elite back. we have a sick pass blocking oline,qb, receivers and TE

you can't argue with his production this year. and he's had to call plays when trailing in practically every game

We won't get one either with the pass first mindset of Jim Chaney.

You can't really question the fact that our guys have been putting up some serious numbers on O. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they kept him.

I used to fish in FL with a guy like Chaney, sometimes the bass would be hitting so well that he would go through his entire tackle box trying to catch a fish on every lure. Chaney finds something that works then moves on just to see if something else works......I know, this is stupid and cool story bro and all that. But sometimes you just have to shake your head at some of the stupid stuff that he does. Run the ball down someone's throat all the way to the 2 and then do something completely different and wind up kicking a FG? I think I will take my chances with someone else.

Chaney is worthless in the SEC he needs to go without a doubt. Pittman, Graham, and strength and conditioning coach need to stay end of story. Can give 50 reasons why should leave and zero he should stay. Why would you want someone that kiffin brought in from Purdue to stay its completely idiotic to WANT to keep him. Any average offensive coordinator would of done the same as chaney this year but if we had an above average offensive coordinator the past three years we would of been averaging 55 points a game with the talent we had this year.

Well, if the talent could consistently catch a pass, we would have had another td or 2 every game.
