How 'bout we back a Brinks truck up to Dawn Staley's house and see what happens? If she can turn USC into a national power, imagine what she could do at UT. I can think of no former Lady Vol that has the potential to raise this program. Let's stop hiring and firing our heroes and let someone else do the dirty work.

I'm curious, who's someone out there you'd like to see the AD go for? Still on the Walz train?

Also I'm curious your take on the play of Destinee Wells so far. I know you were a fan of hers and I think I know you're going to say any problems she's having are bc of poor coaching. Do you still have hope of her helping us out?

I'd be very surprised if Danny White makes any decision that he shares with us this year at all. I'm sure there will be a sit down after the season, and I hope they talk seriously about recruiting. He'll probably call, probably already has, to offer her help and support right now. But as far as him confronting her, threatening her job, etc while the season is going on is just not going to happen.

That said, I hate the thought of a long, painful process like the one with Holly. I'm afraid next year is going to be awful but the AD has to get the next hire right, even if it takes awhile.

Someone far far away from the LV coaching tree, with an emphasis on a great offensive mind who can recruit.

I'm not optimistic. Both she and Spear have proven themselves to be high-caliber players at this level... until they got here. Pretty easy to see the common denominator...

Disagree, the way the season is going, recruiting is faltering and no RJ next season. The decision to move on seems clear and no need for another year of setback when you can start rebuilding the brand with a new infusion.

Not saying that doesn't make sense and as I said, I dread another long slow death march of an LVFL. But it isn;t going to happen that soon, and certainly not during the season, unless KJH resigns. That's just not how it's done.

Doesn't mean he can't go ahead and put preliminaries in motion for considering the next hire and I think he should. But anything public is only going to be supportive of KJH IMO.

Yeah I can't think of anyone specific either. That's the thing about the firing, there has to be a pretty quick hiring . I totally agree with your hiring guidelines, I just don't see who that would be right now.

Alot of fans on here. Danny will not fire her midseason. You all know better than this( or I would think you would know better). Some of your head coaching replacement suggestions leave much to be desired. We must move on from the Pat tree. Pat is not walking through the door and there was only one Pat. But times have changed. And alot. Nothing is the same when any of these former players played. Not one thing. So it is going to take someone who can navigate the portal and NIL.
