After today I needed a good chuckle.

Mom's church friend asked if i could cut down a small tree
true it was only 10-12 ft high,,,but the dang thing was as big around as a dinner plate
A LARGE dinner plate
Had to sharpen the chainsaw 3 times
Got done and the friends husband (92 years old) asked me if 50 would be ok
A CHURCH Friend!!! what else could I say
Hardest 50 dollars I have ever earned
Oh well....I survived

He is an absolute jerk and I personally would struggle to support the program with him as HC.
This is a moot thread as Kellie and the team are going to pull this together. In addition to being moot at is also NOT HELPFUL for recruiting. You’ve got to wonder about motivation to even start this thread.

I can assure you that he never used anything to get a raise here. You have your opinions, but you dont know anything about Walz other than what you perceive or have heard someone say. My word to you is this. He is a winner. Thats something thats needed. Many people had alot of negative things to say about Pat also. You need to let that sink in.

I'm watching Megan Duffy at Marquette closely this year...

Duffy is a winner. She has the number 1 3 point shooter in Amercia along with a cast of scorers. All skilled. We cant beat them.

Kellie had her opportunity at a bigger school; the same school Wes Moore resurrected and elevated from her dismantling.

I always liked Wes Moore and thought he would have been a good candidate for the UT job but that was not going to happen (He was neither female or a former LV). Actually, Coach Harper was an assistant coach for Wes Moore when she was beginning her coaching career.

Danny White let pretty good soccer leave for more money. He need to give volleyball coach a raise or some other University may come for the soccer coach. Tennessee big money is in football. Tennessee is not put lady Vols basketball school. Like unconn and Gamecocks. I was going post this reply where someone was talking about Danny White decisions on what coach to hire next women's basketball coach.

I am genuinely curious. How does giving the volleyball coach more money discourage other schools from pursuing the soccer coach?

You take it as a given that the requirements were female and LV.
Which is fine. But that is the root of the issue. Who set the requirements? That those requirements were imposed on the AD was the drain to the swamp…

I have seen his demeanor and language during televised games so that is not just perception or what I have heard someone else say. That comment by the way is particularly condescending.
You should go research his salary history and see how often his raises follow his “interest” in major program openings.
Finally, I really don’t need someone like you giving me any advice on what to let “sink in”.

Another poster listed his resume the past 5…then before that, so I’m good. Thank you for your kind suggestions tho. You must be a person of high importance amongst your people, I’d wager. Console yourself that I have no decision making authority…this is simply my personal preference.
