I hope you aren’t killed. I am 100% behind Kellie but I wouldn’t care whether a coach was a male or female.
I sort of agree with the comparison to Pat thing in that Holly probably had the worst situation in the history of first head coaching jobs. I don’t know how long that comparison to Pat thing hangs on.

Holly was so bad from the beginning that she never had to endure Pat comparisons. It could have been a bad situation, but it was not under the circumstances.

Holly was the best coach for the moment. All Kellie had to do was be better than Holly. Holly did the hard part of following the legend.

My first choice would be Kellie Harper and I hope and believe she will turn it around. If a change is made Tina Langley would definitely be someone to look at. Head coach at Washington, pretty sure she was a candidate when Harper was hired.

Kellie would do a lot better if the Knoxville atmosphere was different.These are not yesteryear’s girls they are wanting a more hip hop culture at the school’s games and Dawn provides that even TX when they played UCONN had the lights on low playing hip music during time outs it might seem insignificant but it’s playing a small part in recruiting some of these young ladies want to see a little of their culture and I don’t know if TN provides that because I’ve never been in the building but Kellie knows this that’s why she along with her husband and assistants were doing choreograph video dances some time ago they trying to get with the cultural program that some of these young ladies are looking for like I said it’s a small reason outside of the NIL situation but it could make a difference in a player not coming I know that’s not Mulkey’s style.but she is playing the game to not turn off recruits and if some of you old fashioned fans think it’s not a problem well ok think that way

Nikki Caldwell was brought in to help. As recalled it was her who helped land Parker. Caldwell took up slack from Mickey Demoss departure. I do not think Tennessee gets #7-8 without Caldwell. Holly was not the coach Demoss was.

Take Banghart off this list. We could have chased her, should have, but didn't and she's now at UNC and not going to leave there.

Banghart is 1-3 over their last 4 games and hasn’t done anything at UNC and has had some great recruiting classes the last 2 or 3 years. How is she any better?

I'm just as disappointed about this season's start as anybody else..But the vitriole posted by some here is simply not the same when it isn't supported by facts..I've said my peace..It simply is what it is..No more, no less..Flame away.....

Again, you’re delusional. A team can be ranked anywhere, in any poll throughout the year. It’s what happens in post-season that truly matters. If for one second you believe this program is in a good of place as what Pat had it in, you’re super delusional… bless your heart.

One of these things is not like the other.

Kara would be the "logical successor" to Holly and Kellie only in continuing the downhill slide. As noted in the contradictory statement, her coaching at Duke has been spotty at best. Recruiting has been just ok, and she struggles to keep them.

Also, Lawson left the Board of Trustees with bad blood btw them.

In the real world, neither Kara Lawson nor Jeff Walz will never, ever coach here.

TTU already has a coach with a similar W-L record as KH. As far as I know she doesn't have her spouse on the payroll.
But, I doubt Womens BB or any other sport is as important as at UTK.
Not sure KH could handle the pay cut?
