For sure. Her sponsorship agreements with Gatorade, State Farm, and Nike will travel with her to the WNBA. At the current clip, she will pass Pistol Pete to become the NCAA all-time scoring leader in 3 to 4 games. The only thing that might bring her back to the NCAA would be if Iowa again misses out on a NC this season. I think she will more likely opt for the WNBA. She is the female Steph Curry. Her gobsmackingly deep 3-pointers are fan magnets. She may be the first college player whose star power/fan draw capacity actually transfers to the WNBA.

I was actually surprised to see that she is 50 made 3s from being #1. She now sits third on a list headed by Taylor Robertson who has 537 to CC's 487. (Robertson also had a higher shooting %)

CC averages 4 made 3s per game. She has 4 regular season games plus the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments. So, if Iowa avoids early eliminations, she should be able to claim that record as well.

Men’s and women’s records should be separate, it’s not the same.

Would she leave the west coast, I know the money would be a lot better. I just worry about recruiting and being in the sec. Would have to get assistants that had ties to cover recruiting

I do not have a problem with the hiring of KJH because she did a great job at Missouri State. She made the NCAA two years in a row and had several good games against D1 competition. However, her recruiting and coaching has not been as good as it needs to be at the top 25 D1level. If our plans are to be competitive at the top 10 D1 level, KJH is failing. She has six good players and a questionable D1 bench. That is on her as a recruiter and coach. Sadly she simply has not made this program better than the shape Holly had this program in. In many ways she has made it worse. 5 years is more than enough time to turn a program around or to show positive signs that it is headed back to the top of women’s basketball.

Lindsay Gottlieb is finding success because she has a legit generational talent on her team. Which is a great feat in its own right, but how well did USC do before JuJu, and how well will they do after? Her career wins and losses are not that of an elite coach, at USC or any of the other programs she's coached for.

That’s what I’m saying, she can bring Juju and Kennedy Smith with her, we need a coach that has the players already and not someone we think can build.

Back during the portal period I said we should get Betts and people on here said she wasn’t good since she barely played at Stanford but I watched the film and knew she was big time. She can bring Betts, Rice, Osborne and even Dugic. Most of our players transfer out except Spear and we will be good to go.

Yes I remember it because you and I said the same thing about getting a big and others we had a lot of agreements on the way KJH was recruiting.

JuJu Watkins is not leaving Southern Cal. Very strong family ties to the area, massive NIL $, and a degree of media exposure that only comes with playing LA (and having LeBron attend your games).

Do you really want them to tell Puckett, Strip, Wynn, and Darby to pack their bags their senior year? Did Wells get a fair chance? That just seems like a brutal culture.

When a new coach comes in the players will want to transfer, it’s not about just kicking them to the curb, everyone wants a new coach and to compete for championships, so tough decisions need to be made to make that happen. They can go to schools that can use their talents and I’ll wish them luck. That’s the only way I think we can compete for a championship next season, but that can change depending on our portal haul.

Anything is possible, her Nil deals will follow her or she will get new ones if needed, it’s worth a shot, that’s a coach I would try to get, we can look at other like Cori Close is that doesn’t work out.

I would keep strip, puckett, Wells and Spears and the rest could transfer. They will find a team to play for and find a team where they can get playing time

So you have already written off Cooper and Boyd who have yet to play for the LVs, plus the much improved Wynn and Jillian? Admittedly, JH has not been great this season but athletic 6'4 players don't grow on trees.

I do not know if she could recruit at a high enough level to be successful . Her husband would not take up a slot as a coach, he has a job in broadcasting. I am not pushing for her but I am curious why some think she would never be hired by UT.
