87, perhaps you would be wise to simply watch your wording in the future. Arguing it is fruitless. What you said implied that he would be committing soon to all who read it. That may not have been what you intended to convey, but your choice of wording made it sound that way.

And quit leaning on the "text doesn't show intention" crutch. You have enough posts by now to know how better.

Southern Miss baffles me. I had a business trip in Mississippi last week. Drove the 2 minutes through Hattiesburg and I just didn't get it.
They had 2 of the top up and coming recruiters in the country. That trend should stop now that those 2 guys are in the SEC.

I can't convey to you just how ridiculous that comment makes you look...not in the context that VKB really showed me a thing or two...but in the effect that you sound like a tool that is vying for VKB's approval.:eek:k:

I seek no approval from VKB, you or anyone else on here. I mostly read and try to pick up info and make an occasional comment.

It was a JOKE gv87. I apologize if it rubbed you the wrong way. It was certainly not my intention so lighten up.

I understood what he meant, and I saw little/no difference in what he posted and what was said. Not that big of a deal.

People name entire threads "so-and-so is going to be a vol" when it is pure speculation. Now that is stretching the truth. This is just posting info in your own words. In no way did I think that he was saying that this kid was "definately" going to commit.

Well apparantly I have a hidden agenda in which I use my masterful "spin" skills to fool all unsuspecting, good natured volnation members.

Well I guess you're just smarter than me OHVol because I thought it inferred that a commitment to the Vols was likely.

To 87, don't worry about it. It's no big deal.

Dude, now you're changing your stance again? Are you bipolar? No one said you had an agenda. I clearly said that I thought your intention was innocent enough, but your choice of wording was not good. Let it go. Just be more careful of how your words come off in the future especially when summarizing a quote from a journalist.

yeah, sorry to rant. Just wanted to give my 2 cents.

Shouldn't be bickering.
Go Vols!

Easy guys.. We're all on the 'same team' here. Well, most of us at least... It's a time to be VERY excited about Tennessee football.. Let's ease up on one another and have fun...

If Oku was afraid of competition, he wouldn't have committed here in the first place. He will be a Vol no matter who else we bring in at RB.

I agree Sab. I remember reading a quote from him on here pretty much saying that very thing..
