Kendrick Hardy '09 RB

I got something to say about Hardy after watching his highlight videos.

Unfair or not, Hardy is the next Arien Foster.

He hardly ever runs between the tackles. Most of his carries are sweeps to the side. Now, that being said, he appears to be faster than Foster and is more highly rated than Foster was out of highschool. Not dissing either of them. Foster had some very good games and if Hardy could be more consistent than Foster was, then he could be utilized in our offense since Foster is gone.

Oku is the fast, illusive scat back, big playmaker.
Toney Williams, runs like a bulldozer and picks up large chunks .
Taureen Poole, short down and goaline
Hardesty, the work horse
Creer, playmaker, every down back
Hardy, Arien Foster without the fumbles hopefully

Just my take but even a blind man can see the comparisions. Regardless, UT would be deep at RB with all 6 bringing something different to the run game.

This guy is a lot better than Foster. Those sweeps are just what his highlight tape is made up of. But he is faster and a better looking prospect than Foster by far. Why are we bringing Foster up anymore? He's gone and he's takes his bad additude with him.

For a comparison? Maybe because we all watched Foster. Who would you compair him to if you had to? Foster played hard for the vols and he doesn't deserve to be further riticuled. Like you said, he's gone.

IMO Foster was a bit more shifty where Hardy seems more hard-nosed and a downhill type runner. He reminds me of Carnell Williams in running style...yet Hardy doesn't seem near as talented, yet.

I wouldn't compare him to anybody. He's just a hard-nosed downhill runner with pretty good speed. He's a blue collar RB. Nothing spectacular just a solid back.

I think he probably ends up staying close to home and going to So. Miss but, who knows. The depth chart at RB is prob. a lot thinner in Hattiesburg.

That and the fact that So Miss probably has a better o line right now too.

I don't think we get Hardy, but I like our chances a lot with Lacy. I just hope we keep Oku at this point. My gut says we do, I just hope its right.

One major recruit who has decided to stick with the Golden Eagles despite overtures from Mississippi State is Wayne County star running back Tracey Lampley.

I wonder if this helps us with Hardy

Out of all the RBs we are in line for i want Oku the most. We have a big back (Williams) already what we need know is a scat back kind of like Bush who can work in space. Oku fits that mold.

My guess is, if Hardy is intimidated by Lampley, he would be just as intimidated if not more so by Oku, so probably not. Now if Oku commits to Auburn, you might be on to something.

I dont see how we get Lacy though. I think its Hardy and Oku and with a slight chance of bryce brown.

didnt you hear? Kiffin doesnt change a kids position, he tells them they dont fit.

Yeah because Eric Berry, Gerald Jones, Lennon Creer, D-Moore, and Dennis Rogan havent even sniffed the field the last two season.

Creer should have been starting, he single handedly took UT on its best drive last year. Fulmer just had a love affair with the upperclassmen. Not just last year, but every year.

I think Lacy doesnt make the grade. I think Oku lands in Auburn. I think Hardesty gets hurt. I think Creer cant hold onto the ball. I think we dont know what Poole can do over an entire season. That's why I think we need him. Dont get me wrong, I love TW, but he sometimes strikes me as a MLB.
