Kentucky down by 18 to Miami (OH)

Well obviously he had enough talent to beat Syracuse and Pittsburgh (who was stacked last year by the way) so what could have possibly kept him from beating Northeastern or not getting trounced by almost every other good team in the Big East?

Bc it is not a video game. You dont take the games where a team plays really good or a game where a team plays really bad. You have to step back and look how the team did as a whole. They ended the season better than they should have based on talent. Does it mean he is a stud coach? NO There is no proof he is not though!

You want to back that up with some proof that WWWes has done anything that warrants such a statement?
The only people who will make that allegation are those with the anonymity of the internet to hide behind. After 60 Minutes pulled the plug on a story on WWWes, because he let them know he would sue them into the Stone Ages if there was one unverified statement made, people who have to be accountable for their words have tread very lightly.

No they didn't. They returned everyone from the year before and improved by all of 4 games, and got beat by Northeastern and curb-stomped by Baylor. How is that better than they should have been?

I'd rather not.. Na wait, I will..

See, Josh Selby's mom told CBS's Garry Parrish that she and her son met with William Wesley at the LeBron James camp. As is well known, Wesley is one of Kentucky coach John Calipari's major behind-the-scenes shoe company-guys and power brokers. (To be honest, no one is exactly sure how Wesley does what he does, but however he does it, he's good.) A few days after the camp, Selby re-opened his recruitment. He's now apparently considering Kentucky.

Gee. I wonder what happened here?

The pathetic post you made trying to reference facts is completely useless. I don't have to sit here and spit out facts and compare resumes, because its already been stated over and over and over again. A few others already seem blue in the face from making the point. Obviously it goes in one ear, through an open void and then out the other side with some of you.

Why would I want to sit here and waste time trying to rationalize with someone who is the equivalent of a Jerry's Kids poster child.

Are you that big of moron? You big balled internet gangster. I am not criticizing Calapari bc I think he is a good coach. Im just saying we have a good coach right here in Knoxville.

Everyone twists facts to downgrade coach Pearl but going by coaching record he has done a great job and has done every bit the job Calapari had done at the start of his career. If you anything to add that says anything different than add it.

If not go back to your own board and enjoy the spanking you are about to receive in football. Besides Pearl has done pretty well head to head against Calapari as well.

If I didn't absolutely despise Kentucky, I would hope they won it this year just so I could tell everyone on this board to shut the hell up. However, this is one of those things that I hope I am wrong about.

Don't kid yourself. You are a Kentucky fan. The last two coaches that Kentucky has had have been relentlessly defended by you.

You mean like the destruction tour I went on against the "Pearl is just as good as Self" retards during the '07 Tournament?

This year should be fun. Watching you Kentucky fans get on the edge of your seat after you lose to Rider Saturday should be entertaining.

They are both coaches that I liked that ended up at a program that I hate. Just because I don't want them to succeed now doesn't mean that I don't think it is a bit dumb to claim that they aren't good coaches.

There's also nothing on Bruce Pearl's resume that suggests that he isn't going to win a championship. So what's your point?

I would argue that his team's inability to do anything meaningful in a tournament would suggest he won't win a championship. They flame out, and I don't think that that is debatable to this point.

And no one wins in March without good PG play. He certainly hasn't produced any of that yet.

I love how the Pearl sheep have morphed into the Fulmerites. "If you don't worship the obnoxious, body painting, I'm going to coach the Macaroni Grill Games instead of recruit, adulterer/coach, you must be a fan of some other team." The University of Fulmer has been replaced with Pearl School for The Tanning Arts. How quaint.

Did you like Bruce Pearl before he came to UT?
