Kentucky lost again

Damn that loss last night. KY fans were ready to start eating their own and some were even starting to question their coach before last nights game. Now they are united with a ton of confidence. We blew a perfect chance last night to really weaken their moral and support for their team. Yes, I know it's just one game but gving their coach a signature road win just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Especially since it would have been 3 losses in a row. Now everything above has shifted our way. 🫤

Seems like we've had several games like that over the years the past 10-15 where they come in kinda wounded and we don't show up.

Remember Meeks dropping 54 on us back in 09? UK came into that game with everyone calling for Gillispie's head and they weren't even ranked and they blew us out of the water. And that UK team didn't even make the NCAAT.

Was right and wrong here. They live by the three and die by the three, but our defense didn't really cause them trouble.

They are ranked 3rd in ppg and we did hold them to 78 ppg compared to their average of 88 ppg. The problem was they shot 50% from three. If we would have held them to their average at 37.43% and they shot 9/25 or even 10/25 we would have won. It was their night though. They were getting shots like Brea's that did a weird bounce in if I remember correctly.

UGA loss. Held to 24% from three.

Vandy loss. 39% from three.

Bama loss. 41% from three.

Clemson loss. 26% from three.

OSU loss. 18% from three.

You just simply can't let a team shoot 50% from three and expect to win the game. When we play at Rupp we have to hope for...

1. They aren't hot for three.
2. CRB packs the 3 point line and makes them score down low.

Same thing happened last year on Senior Day. Sheppard couldn’t miss.

All the sh!t they talked about Cal and he comes into their house and embarrasses them!
I absolutely LOVE it!
Especially after the crap they talked after that game with us this week. They making excuses about not having a point guard whilst Arky lost Boogie Fland/their point. To win without your point guard you have to play team ball like we did today when we spanked Flordia!
