It felt so obvious that this would happen. Got told so many times I was worried about nothing, but everything before this game setup for a massive letdown. I know we like to laugh at Kentucky when they lose, but them reaching rock bottom 3 days before coming to Knoxville was not what we wanted. Combine that with our guys playing tight, nervous, and outside of themselves and it’s a recipe for a big fat egg.
Lol....no way in hell I make that bet. I think we probably lose worse there.
Yeah, though, it's not as if Kentucky was magically any better today than they have been lately. They had lots of miscue and mistakes - but also 15 more free throws. For whatever reason. *cough*
We were more than in the game today. Turned the ball over and gave up too many rebounds especially in the first half which is how they got the lead. We were the better team in the second half and didn’t really play that well. Our fans are weird, man. Last time we went to Rupp we got thrashed by 30. Kentucky just came into Knoxville and pretty much whipped us for 40 minutes. We never really felt “in” the game after the 8-0 start. Yet, our fans just want to call it a fluke and think it will be just easy to go on the road and win.
Idk, thought we really didn’t play well today and had a good chance to win.
We played bad more than they played well imo. Stil not a good team and think we win handily at Rupp
KY defense was lock down. TN had no answer and KY could have easily won by 20. Uros, surprisingly, was the only thing that was working on TN’s offensive end. Nobody else was able to step up. Lot’s of young TN players exhibited why they haven’t had more PT.
I can’t say it felt obvious Kentucky would win. I can say it felt obvious to me that any Tennessee fan who claimed “easy win” or ”we win by 20” or any of the other similar things I heard, just doesn’t really have a clue about college basketball. It’s as simple as that. I was worried, but felt we would come out on top.It felt so obvious that this would happen.
