Kentucky v. Gardner Webb (merged)

Donovan MIGHT have overachieved ONCE. Other than that he has underachieved or his team did what they were capable of doing. The first trip to the finals with Mike Miller's crew, could have been overachieving (although I thought that was a talented squad). Prior to that, they underachieved in a big way. The championships - he clearly had the best team.

i guess you could say he underachieved in the tournaments...i dont think he went to a sweet 16 from 2000-2005...but overall if you look at each season holistically, he did pretty well.

Oh how the sky is falling and the meltdown has officially begun. Now that the Kentucky tame-kittens lost in a route to Gardner-Webber they are ready to fire BG. Geez, I wonder why you would question someone who has only been to one sweet sixteen?:whistling: Oh how the mighty have fallen.:)

here's a random quote that i got a good laugh at. just thinking of Rupp's crowd booing their own team is priceless

"I know the team's play possbily deserved boos but booing your own team is pathetic. There were many people on here poking fun at Louisville's f-ball team after the booing display they had and we are obviously just like them. A freind at the game said there were other people chanting for tubby to come back, etc..all this needs to stop. This team needs a 360 turnaround and guess what SO DO THE FANS!!!!

First time I was a little ashamed of being a cat fan.

To all those that booed - thanks for sending a great message to our new coach and possibly potential recruits. I hope Chris Singleton wasn't there or watching.

Just my thoughts."

I wouldn't worry about it if I were them. Kentucky is a football school anyway

watched the cats last night / they looked like they belonged in OVC instead SEC / who will be #2 in east behind VOLS?

Florida or georgia would be my guess. Kentucky might get it going later its just to early to make predictions.

I thought it was a pharmaceutical company. Looks like something you would read on a pill bottle. Unbelievable how the Cats never really had a chance. We should hammer them twice. If we ever have a chance at going undefeated in the division it has to be this year.

They're the team that beat the hell out of the Kentucky Wildcats and their prodigy coach Billy Gillespie. What happened with that, Hat?

Tubby left the cupboard pretty bare. They have no inside players at all. Seems like I have seen that work before, but they don't have Lofton and Bradshaw.

Rick Scruggs, Gardner-Webb's coach, was interim HC at my alma mater Milligan College in 1994.
