Or, if an offensive player goes down, he is done for 5 minutes of offensive playing time. Same for a defender. It does not punish those who go down and are hurt, and protects them from exacerbating a seemingly insignificant "hurt". JMHO.That's who comes out when someone goes down. Trainers. It's their call. The SEC SHOULD employ trainers to come out WITH the team trainers and THEY can assess what's BS and what isn't.

Maybe you should just follow flag football.Even for a real injury? If Nico goes down after a sack because he's hit his off shoulder, we should have to replace him for the rest of the drive because of that stinger?

What you're doing is encouraging guys to NOT have potential injuries assessed, so what if Nico's arm IS hurt and he doesn't get it checked and he's then hit again and ruled out for the season because his arm is further injured?
