It looks like a horrible call, but was something also said? If you watch the ref he hesitated. I'm not excusing the call.

He sure wasn't willing to throw the late hit which I think Snell wanted. But very quick on the trigger when Snell pulled/pushed away the ref putting hands on the player.

Oh I agree 100%, by far one of the worst calls I've ever seen. But now I can't help but picture how that ref overreacts to every day inconveniences.

That ref needs to go back to calling peewee ballet matches. No business refing football. Missed the late hits by Northwestern, put his hands on a player, and then ejected the player for touching him. Ridiculous. Stoops should have been out there on the field in that guy's pathetic face.
