KIFFIN ONLY HAS TWO LOI's?! - Yeah, not really.

That's comical. Call me when Doofus follows up and adds a Bryce Brown type talent in a couple of weeks. Tennessee paid Wal Mart wages in this hire and they are going to get Big Lots results.

I cant wait until he finds another NuKeese Richardson, WHAT ABOUT YOU HAT?

Could we really have made a good hire, or was the best case promoting Kippy? That may have been better, but we weren't getting anything great.

So do you want Dooley to do well and prove you wrong, or fail, be fired and prove you to be the genius that you like to think you are?
I hope Doofus is successful. I also hope I win Mega Millions and the Powerball on back to back nights. Those two scenarios are equally likely.

Where have I said I want Doofus to be the disgrace I'm certain he will be? I gagged at the sight of Fulmer, but I never rooted for him to lose.

Would you rather Dooley win and be a success and prove you wrong, or Dooley fail, be fired and prove you to be right?

Hat... Ambles, Kiffin, and Coach O are sitting naked in a circle waiting for their biscuit. DONT MAKE THEM WAIT

Dooley may do okay in recruiting, but our coaching staff in general took a huge downgrade.

Doofus and his colleage of South Alabama and East Carolina quality recruits are waiting on their pivot man. Time for you to clock out early, turn off the deep frier, and head to Haslam Field.

Serious question Hat: What are the reasons for the Dooley dissing? You've stated the reasons for your anti-Bruce Pearl fetish numerous times, and I agree with a number of them. But for Dooley you just call him names and call him a Saban lackey. No one will argue with you that he is unproven, but there are a lot of college coaches with similar pedigrees before they get their first major job. If his last two years at La Tech had switched places I don't think people would have much if any problem with the hire.

VINCE Dooley and Jim Tressell just to name two off the top of my head.

Besides, its not like we had Nick Saban, Bob Stoops, & Mack Brown waiting in the lobby to leave the respective programs to come here, nor was there a Brian Kelley or Urban Meyer out there that considered UT their "dream job."

Kippy would've been a band-aid to a severed limb.

Cutt would've been like getting the 'ole band back together. No thank you.

Mushchamp declined.
Calhoun declined.
BYU's, Utah's, & _____'s coaches declined.

So I ask, hat, what would you have done?

Is Dooley an upgrade over Kiffin? All we can say is yes to this point.

Was I confused when Dooley's name came out? Yes.

Should we at least give him the benefit of the doubt? Yes, that's the only choice we have.

Wow, hat without coaching a down or a completed staff you state very firmly your opinion as fact.

Do you do divorce work. How much for a consult?

You can be convincing but I still think the jury is still out and all the facts are not in on Dooley right now.

One can spin this in many directions for good and bad.

Right now that is all that it is is spin.

Well obviously? That was understood when Lame left. No matter who we hired it was most likely going to be an over staff downgrade

Tressell had multiple national titles, just not D1A. Dooley never really won anything without Walker.

Kippy could have probably taken the job for a year. The other coaches you mentioned aren't good enough for UT. Not saying Dooley is.

Well we are all in the same boat now. I guess just paddle and hope for the best.

He would have argued for a continuation

Jim Tressel had won multiple I-AA national titles and was almost hired by Miami instead of Butch Davis.

I loved what Kiffin was doing. The team he put on the field was my kind of team and that staff was the best at recruiting.

I don't know what Dooley will do but it is troubling that a good part of this coaching staff was in the WAC last year.

Made Kippy Brown or Lance Thompson the interim coach, then hired a legitimate D-I head guy next December.
