Kim Davis

The most underrated piece of legislation ready to vote on that would make the biggest positive impact on our country.

Wish I could give this 1000 likes. It would change the entire social and political landscape in this country.

The SCOTUS did make the right decision in regards to gay marriage. The courts made the wrong decision to go after a stupid county clerk in this case.

If only she had been given a choice, if only the court had given her the opportunity to let her employees approve the licenses?

If it's a she, I bet not. More than likely "she" is the one at UT that started the "ZE" crap

I wish people would stop bringing this up, it's more cringe-worthy than watching Mosley getting torched play after play by a white guy.

Not the point at all. If KY state law mandates a clerk issue licenses the state should have went after her. Not a federal issue. If state law does not mandate then she was violating no law.

fair or flat or some other option that removes the use of tax code to incentivize or punish favored behaviors/causes/industries, etc.

I think the concepts being used in here have confused you but you want to be seen as someone with something important to say. You're not sure what to do, so you just lash out.

The standard is to start hurling pejoratives like "liberal" and "socialist". Maybe call me a Obama lover or a Clinton bootlicker.

Get started there, I hear it's good for "likes."

I think that the only two people here lashing out and exhibiting rage are you and VP. Everyone else just sits here and listens to you two tell us how stupid we are because we don't follow your convoluted logic.

And with that, I'm off to bed. 4 am comes awful early. Tonight wasn't a total waste, drafted two NFL fantasy teams.

Have another drink.

Why would I have another drink?

Because I'm scared?

Look, brother, I'm tired of people constantly trying to tell others how they ought to live their lives purely off of emotion.

Maybe you've missed it, but I'm not all that different from you. I grew up in a religious home. Thought my world the only one.

But then, one day, after much help, I said, "Maybe there are other things out there."

A very simple answer for a very complicated age.

You of all people should not have a problem with a white guy being fast?

Why do you think Mrs Septic calls you jackrabbit?

You think it's a wise use of the taxpayers dime to legislate and pass laws for every job obligation for each and every state, county and city employee?

I don't understand why you keep rallying around the semantics of whether its a law or not - issuing licenses for the people who meet the requirements of the license - is her job.

I haven't called anyone stupid.

Maybe that's the same voice in your head that tells you to deflect and redirect the conversation when you've out kicked your coverage?

I'm talking about doing it right. We cannot allow the fed courts to interject themselves into issues not within their purview.

I don't get why you have such a hard time with this? I'm not against gay marriage nor do I support this woman.

I didn't grow up in a particularly religious home, and haven't been to church in about 50 years. I never thought that my world was the only one because I was pretty well travelled when I was younger.

I know that there are other things out there, like people who smoke cigarettes, and worship in their church or whatever. I have no problem with them doing that, even though I do neither cigarettes nor church. People like you have no room for others with differing views.

What makes you think I'm having a hard time with it?

I agree it should be a state decision. I don't agree that every job a state employee does within the scope of the job should be legislated.

The argument for some (and I see the rationale) is that had the states addressed it, the feds wouldn't have had to. If history is a guide, feds getting involved is never good.

Some states were good about being proactive, others are left to deal with Kim Davis.

An honest moment, turned to ****.

Stop wasting my time, clown.

Comparing smokers to homosexuals.

You must think I'm some sort of dumbass.

Take your Kim Davis-loving butt back to the bench.

God, you all are embarrassing.

You really compare her refusing to issue a license to the Westboro group?

Seriously?

Did I miss where she was protesting at soldier's funerals? Did I miss the "God hates ****" sign on her desk? And do you really think she deserved to be tossed into jail?

Considering the OP, does it really shock you GV? Dont you know that every religious person is a bible thumping, Constitution trashing, Westboro wanna be.
