Hate it for the guy, MLB's can be huge in stopping GT. It normally takes a guy with very good discipline to stop GT and they also they need to be fast to get around blocks. Anyone on the roster like this?

I'm eating so don't expect me to hold a conversation but here is my opinion. We have two handfuls of 3-4 and more year leaders who are battle tested and know what it takes all over the field. Dispersed amongst some of the most talented and athletic youth UT may have ever seen. We are deep enough to over come now, and we will not have the kind of situation we had last year with the injuries. UT plays youth. It's who we are now, and Butch has proven to get these kids ready before they really should be. We have some of the best coaches position coaches in the country.

Here's what needs to happen. We want Bama. We want their ass on a silver platter. I'm not worried about GT. If you can't get by GT we have no business on the field this year. We need to beat GT and then turn around and handle Florida. That's what we need to do. If we do that we know what we got. The Oline will gain confedence and mesh and it will be a strait shot to Bama. That's our goal as UT. I hate to say this but if UT wants a successful season they absolutely need to floor GT. If Tennessee is what we think they are GT is going to get boat raced. It's the only way to have a successful season. To do that we will have to outscore them. It has nothing to do with the D. We just have to outscore them. It comes down to the Oline. If we whip GT and then whip Florida... look out. We very well could have a dark horse.

The fact that some keep trying to say its no big deal and that Jumper is just as good... is even more hilarious.

FWIW, can you name someone who said UT couldn't win without DKjr?

Then said "see" when the guy repeated his opinion and didn't even quote or attack anyone. Then told me to "fire away" for explaining no one attacked you.

It's not that nobody thinks you can't beat GT without him, it's that it sucks to not be full strength. Especially after last season when so many talented players got hurt.

Depends whether they remove or fix. If you fix it's a much lengthier recovery and with his position he'll want a repair.

Plus this is where UT is at a clear disadvantage. I don't think they advise stem cell treatment, which some other schools are using to avoid invasive surgery.

I spoke with a lady Bulldog ball player that had the stem cell donw on her knee instead of surgery.

Hope you're feeling better.

I don't like hearing about any injuries, obviously, but I ain't freaking out. It is what it is and we're all about to find out what we've got. After last year, even the normal makes us suspicious somethings wrong. We're almost there.

Bituli should play. Don't think he's seriously injured. We'll see Jumper, Bituli and Ignont. Probably a lot of Ignont against Indiana State. Surely 1 of the 3 is serviceable.

Actually it did subside instead of continuing to get worse. Thanks for asking Behr.

I know what you mean but I hadn't had any concern over the injuries until it hit a thin position. Just hoping the competition for that spot is stronger than last year and that includes Jumper. Maybe Rock has added a little of that toughness/explosiveness people are complaining about a lack of.

Just wishing DK a speedy recovery.
