I think Knecht stays starting, I think Mashack and Gainey move to the bench…now it may not be immediate, but that’s me thinking Zeigler goes back to starting when he’s full go.My question is who is gonna push Knect to the bench? Plus Gainey lit it up from 3. Those two drive us to the opening lead. 18 points at one time! Different skill sets I know, but who thinks we jump on a team like that w ZZ and SV starting? This could be real good!
That was one heck of an exhibition. MSU played really flat in Q1, but then it got intense. Several intense confrontations and some big time plays from both sides. Both coaches wanted that win and that packed arena did too.Rewatched the exhibition (and, yes, IK it was just an exhibition), but Knecht looked really composed and seems like a guy (along with Santi) who will be able to hit threes to get us out of our inevitable 3-4 min field goal droughts. Love him out of the portal. BTW Gainey is just a SOPH so maybe he can stay a while.
Vescovi also told Barnes that Cade Phillips needs to play.We were getting player signatures at UT basketball camp this summer and Vescovi was sitting next to Knecht. SV was telling everyone in line to pay attention that Knecht was the real deal. After watching it seems SV wasn't just kidding around
Talked to some of my friends in Michigan this morning and they were raving about Knecht’s play. They think we we have a very good basketball gave and so do I.That was one heck of an exhibition. MSU played really flat in Q1, but then it got intense. Several intense confrontations and some big time plays from both sides. Both coaches wanted that win and that packed arena did too.
Man, these top OOC are awesome compared to playing the same teams twice in conference. I love our basketball schedules the past 5-6 years. Top shelf.
